There are a lot of devs where I am waiting for delivery. But, it is on the way, so I am patient.
Who hasn't delivered? Capcom. Capcom used to be THE developer/ publisher. The best games, the most innovative. What happened?
And, I know it's cool to hate on Bethesda right now but this is more of a case of: what have you done for me lately.
Reverse that. Half of the GTA V base plays on the PS4.
To be fair to Rockstar, the company that always pushed the boundaries, they recently said they couldn't release another GTA in today's socio-political climate.
Just look at what goes on for publishers that put a non white male in a war game.
But, to have you be able to visit prostitutes and then take their money. It was removed from RDR2. They wouldn't proposition you and the prompts would be Diffuse(or something like that) or Decline. The D...
CD Projekt Red's Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz
I do like their games quite a bit, but some people act like they are they are gods.
The Witcher Series is very good, but I can never get a straight answer about one specific thing:
Is part of the charm that many of the quests/ sidequests are taken from mythology, fairy tales, and other works of fiction?
You can't even joke with their community. Even with sarcasm tags they...
Yuji Horii Dragon Quest.
Cid from the Final Fantasy series. Such a great character and dressed to match his skills.
RPGs. JRPGs. WRPGs. MMORPGs. You name it. If it is RPG in any way shape or form, I am going to favor it.
Weel, thanks for the answer. I appreciate it.
I mean, why does everyone have to be an a-hole. Like. It is so hard to just answer a question. Sorry to have wronged you.
Guess we know who the troll is.
Is that true? (not trolling). Can you sleep with prostitutes in RDR2 on PC? We can't on console. Just wondering.
It's gotta be hate. I hate hate. The unmitigated hate aimed at a game or publisher. It's weird. There were plenty of games that were hated and most of the hate was so misplaced or the haters were so misinformed that it was comical.
Worst of all, was the journalistic hate that followed (not just because journalists lack integrity) but because they just want to fan the flames.
Second to that was/ is that these same hatefilled creatures still reite...
Persistent worlds. Persistent RPG worlds. Persistent Online shooters: The idea that every battle actually matters. And battles help your "faction" take land. Procedurrally generated maps.
"I have yet to make the leap since there has not been a killer app for VR."
...
Heard this too many times to count. And it isn't even true. I always list the killer apps and then I get another weird claim about how RE7, Moss, Farpoint, Arizona Sunshine, Star Trek Bridge Crew, Eve: Valkyrie, Megaton Rainfall, Wipeout, Beat Saber, (and others) are just "tech demos."
And these statements are always presented by some...
VR. Hands down. It is amazing and this is just first gen. It is quite mindblowing how great it is to experience.
When I first sat down and popped in SWBF and played the VR mission. It was like I was IN an X-Wing.
VR is here to stay and the future is so, so bright (except for those who hate it).

It was a case of overhyped expectations. The advertisements for a video game based on my favorite book: The Lord of the Rings.
Up to this game, most LOTR games were exceptional compared to many games based on books. Battle for Middle Earth was a great RTS...
Shadows of Mordor was supposed to be this epic game where you could recruit enemies and have them fight. What we got: a screen wherein the "recruited enemy" would get a red X through it if...
Finding the local game of Gwent became my primary goal to seek out new towns and cities.
Dragon Warrior (NES). It just opened a world up for me. I was already into D&D, David Eddings, anything to do with Fantasy Fiction and then, that dropped. Amazing cover art followed by one of the most iconic monsters of all time (blue slime.) and the story was just perfect.
Awesome!
Adventure Atari 2600
"and it was more of the same. "
It was LESS than the same. I couldn't believe how much they removed from Destiny 1 when D2 launched.
I played for maybe 2 weeks. Then it was over.
At least with D1 I was constantly Raiding or running around with friends which made it much more fun.
