I'll second that. My wife is a respiratory therapist and has been on the front lines with this. There is too much misinformation out there and no one listens to people who know what is happening.
I know, we're only on Omicron. We still have pi, rho, sigma, tau, upsilon, phi, chi, psi, and omega to go.
What really threw me was Moss. I love VR but playing games in top down mode is really a fantastic way of using VR. I just wish that RTS Ruse was made into VR.
Nice job. After reading about Xexyx (or however it is spelled) I was reminded of Astyanax and Faxanadu. The names were just otherworldly. But they were tragically underrated as well.
Maybe you should consider a Part 2?
Have you checked out the VR subreddit? Even if you aren't on reddit, just make a free account and read through the FAQ. It is a wonderful community and they will help you mitigate most problems.
All of these games use the same mechanics?
Driveclub
Moss
Final Assault
Eve: Valkyrie
Resident Evil VII
No Man's Sky
Skyrim
Hitman 3
Creed
I have them all and played/ play them all. Can you elaborate on how they are all one trick pony? I am not seeing it.
Thanks for saving me the clicks. Didn't realize this was still a thing.
Devs: Here are plenty of games.
Journo: (3 years ago) VR is dead and there are no games.
Devs and players: man, these VR games are amazing! So many AAA
Journo: (2 years ago) yep, we keep telling you that VR is dead. Please parrot anything we say without doing any research yourself when arguing with VR enthusiasts.
Devs and p...
It's quite clear you are just here to troll. You argue with anyone that has an opinion that doesn't match yours. Good for you. You aren't right just because you write down what you believe to be the truth. Quite the opposite, it just reveals how small the world appears to you.
"niche market" When will you guys move on from this claim? VR in general is growing and continues to do so with AAA games out regularly. It's been 6 years since modern VR launched in earnest. Give your unsubstantiated claims a rest. It doesn't make you sound like you know what you are talking about.
Honestly yes. I imagine Death Stranding VR. Man that would be great.
Oh look, CDProjektRed devs are showing up in the comments to get downvoted. How about go work on the game rather than spread misinformation online.
Are we able to sexually harass other characters?
How about all of you just shut up. No one cares what you have to say regarding PS Plus. Not Sony, not Square, not N4G.
Seriously, you sound like a bunch of cackling hyenas. And nothing you say bears any weight on what Sony nor Square do in the future.
Be happy or unhappy that PS5 owners get the upgrade for free... and shut up.
It's not bad but there are a ton of bizarre choices that the devs made:
Not much destructibility, maps that are large but don't have the feeling of being inhabited, not allowing continuous play on EA servers (as in, you are moved to a new match, with new players instead of just continuing with all the people you were just having fun with), all characters are specialists, no stats to be found in game, lack of intuitive menus.
There is a gameplay trailer out. I don't know how anyone would think she walks "black" or whatever nonsense this "journo" is stating. Quoting out of context rarely conveys what the studio is doing. But "journos" are always creating their own narratives, so this "article" is a pass.
The gameplay trailer is 4 minutes long.
It was a lot better. Modern gaming journalism, journalism in general, is a joke.
Well said, well said.
"Activision Blizzard will "not be part" of next week's annual Game Awards broadcast beyond its nominations, award host and creator Geoff Keighley"
At this point, I believe that articles written about it are Spam seeking more money.
We never got the game that was promised and supposed to have released in 2014. We never will.
Michiel1989,
This wasn't about Sony only. It's a Sony article so I made it relevant. 65 million VR headsets sold are mostly Ocululs. Why didn't you call us Oculus fanboys?
