I think this is a trend we will continue to see for awhile. It is a combination of things: salespeople/ management promising dates that can't be met, the pandemic affected tons of development and now we are seeing delays because of it, the games industry is changing and crunch is no longer an acceptable practice.
Already better than $tar Citizen.
Coming soon in 2014! Original gameplay trailer available on Youtube. Squadron 42 was announced 9 years ago. 9...you don't know whether to laugh or just shake your head in disgust.
Not really since I am an atheist. Weird comment. I lack a belief in any of your gods.
In the context of the game/ franchise there was no option to be an atheistic society that should have benefits like +2 to science and technology. This allows players to do that.
Bald is a hair color?
So. I can make Atheism? Sweet.
They are bad when they are Pay to Win or paywall maps. I don't really care if the game has one. Some have free stuff and I don't mind getting it. CoD has the gimmick where you can retain CoD points and buy the season pass if you want with it. You have to complete the season though. If there is something there I want I might buy it. But I hoard those free points for something I really want.
I haven't ever paid for a season pass.
@stanjara
You might be misunderstanding the statement. He is stating that they currently "slap the few best reviews on the picture anyways." (ie not any bad reviews, etc)
This isn't "a bad thing" because they are doing away with that practice.
"That" guy wrote a review that sounds closer to a 7.5 or 8 out of 10 but instead put 5 so he could get clicks.
But tell me you don't understand things without telling me you don't understand things.
Oh look, it's "that" guy.
Pub brawls, some swordplay.
Yeah, make that melee way more nimble and fast otherwise that beast at the end is astoundingly dumb.
I play heavy melee and the designers didn't take that into account. The boss fight had 10 minutes of straight running just to get hits.
Imagine if people understood hyperbole.
How dare you take away my RIGHT to be offended, sir or madam or other?!
*the above comment is sarcasms
Of course.
PR person: "Oh look, a trend! It looks like rainbows, let's make the EA logo rainbows."
PR person: "O look, another trend. It says BLM. Google says it's the Bureau of Land Management. Let's do whatever everyone else does: BLM EA, everyone!"
PR person: "Oh look, a trending meme. Let's tweet it but say multiplayer games if it's heads and single player games if it's tails."
I...
That looks so satisfying.
Really disappointed. The OG is amazing. Then they drop Triangle Strategy which is great. I can't imagine that mobile is so profitable. But, I guess you reach a broader base?
I have the same emotions of when they announced Ni No Kuni Cross Worlds. Saw the title: YES YES YES!!
Saw "Mobile:" No NO NO!!
"We have investigated ourselves and found ourselves completely innocent of any wrongdoings."
I think it is a biggie. One of the things with NMS is the ability to quickly get up to orbit and pulse to the other side of a planet. If every landing and take off is a loading screen, how will the game know where on the planet I am aiming for? It's a legitimate question.
Perhaps I have base far from whatever city exists on a planet... how can I quickly go there. Or I see an ocean or an island etc...?
Those aren't the same thing. I have been sexually harassed by women at every job I had except one. It's not fun. It's not a fantasy and it doesn't make me homosexual because I didn't give in and like it. The comments here are so out of touch.
The idea: believe the victims is meant to make it safe for them to come forward. It's really hard for them to not blame themselves. But when your boss is their friend, then what? They work in an industry that f...
