I love the Forgotten Realms world.
I think there are so many "under the hood" improvements over PSVR that it's easy to miss unless you plug 1 in and then put 2 on.
Foviated rendering is mindblowing. And it is so seemless that I think many reviewers are taking for granted.

But, there were times when W3 broke narrative rules and forced narrative where it shouldn't have.
Example: I am playing Geralt and there is a boss fight, I go the whole encounter untouched, I slay the boss, but then a cutscene happens where I barely survive the encounter?
Example 2: Ciri vs the witches. She can blink. I blink my way...
And (I agree), the narrative that there is usually follows whatever questline you wish to pursue.
The only "narrative" breaking thing was the Elden Beast. It didn't fit, at all. And if you were heavy melee, the battle was tedious and not fun (ex: running around for 15 minutes getting hits.)

I am not saying the game is on par with BF1 or BFV, but there are improvements and more on the way.

I think it is absurd that the US military has millions if not billions of dollars in their advertising budget. It is absurd that they have an advertising budget.
I have seen some vids. This is definitely in the right direction. Seems like a redemption. But then again, people will hate what they have never played: BFV, for example.
