"What should they do?"
Not a thing. The series is perfect. Too bad for people that don't understand how to read a narrative through the game play. ICO was an amazing game and the tale was told through interaction.
What if James Joyce made Ulysses more "understandable." We would have a pile of crap rather than a masterpiece.
Same goes for the following:
Lord of the Rings
Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy ...
From the blog: "Bonus experience points for multiplayer
A multiplayer melee attack booster
Some extra starting in-game cash"
In game cash... makes it seem like there will be stores to purchase weapons? And is that for sp or mp?
X-Com escort missions are fine.
Yes. Level 5 has always done well. Dark Cloud, Dragon Quest VIII, Professor Layton, Rogue Galaxy, White Knight Chronicles.
The hits just keep coming.
Now wait a minute. I just read on Gradar that Black Ops 2 hit $1 Billion since release. Then I came back here and low and behold... gamesindustry.biz... these guys know nothing about gaming or the industry. These are the same mooks as industrygamers. Lulz.
Not only that, but I still don't think there is anything to worry about when the industry does 2.55 Billion in one month. That is insane!
I was wondering about this "review." There is a demo available but Ni No Kuni doesn't release until next year.
Thanks for those of you that posted, I honestly don't want the demo because I KNOW I will not want to stop playing!
(See Itani's comment below!)
Your Random Review of Lego Lord of the Rings for the [Insert Game System.] is trite. It is a poor example of critique. Your comments are wonky and your analysis is tacked on. It would be even more cliched had I not had to grind through all of the tacked on, random hype of your prowess as a reviewer. And since you have written a review before, it certainly doesn't live up to the standards previously set by your review of [insert other game title] for [insert favorite gaming system.]
Moar articles like this please!!!
How many videos are taken off of Youtube because of "copyright" infringements? While I agree that this guy is overreacting, I can't help but think that if this tattoo artist advertised THQ tattoos, he might be sued by THQ.
Well, the really weird thing is, how do you do that kind of technology cheaply? And how can it be done so that if I bring Madden 15 over to my brothers, I can still play it and his console doesn't think it is a "used game."
Thing is, I don't think the tech exists, and I imagine there would be tons of glitches in blocking out gamers that bought the new game.
Me too. I still regret not giving it or Spec Ops: the Line a go.
@Zero, yeah.... not really sure Sleeping Dogs fits the list either.
Early Final Fantasy on SNES (with that sound.) are among my favorites.
This episode was fantastic. And I caution all of you to sit through the credits to see another scene! I think it sets up Season 2 quite nicely.
Why not just a different story in the ME universe? Different characters etc... What might be awesome: the main character is a privateer and missions and storyline follow the more "seedier" side of ME.
There are countless options if we just go with a different story. It doesn't have to be a "Save the universe" sci fi story. Just a great story with great gameplay.
They should continue the series as downloadable multiplayer only. It is the best aspect of the game and is actually fun. The first MOH MP was a blast as well. They did the maps right, and spawning* (see note at bottom.) I don't remember the single player and the new single player is still meh. But I will stand by the MP. The maps are large enough so that they don't feel like donuts (COD).
* (note)I read a review on here that claimed that spawning in MOH was broken,...
Excuse me, but these people are not writers.
SimCity will be mine!
Wha-wha-whhhaaaat!?!! You aren't buying into the DDOOOOOOOMM! And GLOOOOOOOOM!!?
Fear and Scare tactics aren't working? What have you done to become immune?
Same D&G articles, different day.
"Happy Holidays" is not modern. It dates back to at least 1890. And "Season's Greetings" is even older. It used to be "With the Season's Greetings" until about the 1920s.
The idea that there is some sort of conspiracy to steal Christmas from Christians, however, is fairly recent. As far as stealing the holiday goes, well, according to the Bible, Jesus was born in the fall. This season is actually a Roman Holiday called Saturnalia. D...
