9th Dawn was greenlit. But that was the last I'd heard. I want to play that game on PC since I don't own a tablet.
But, all the news seems so old so I don't know what is happening with it.
This is a really good review. It seems to me that it would score closer to 9 than to 8 though, based on your praise of the game.

I think, unfortunately, this just exposed a major flaw in Kickstarter.
And that is, who does this belong to? Certainly, the creators own the IP (which is what we all want, correct?) But, the community that backed it created the free advertising and buzz around this product.

On the other hand, Sony may have a better idea in that you don't puke like you do with ORift and it connects to the PS4. So, you already have a bevy of 1st person games to go with it (to an extent.)
Plus, considering what Notch blogged about the sale, it sounds like he will be looking at the competition instead, he is done with ORift.
True. I don't expect that though. In fact, the opposite is true because I am getting to play games I may never have thought to buy, which I think is the purpose of the service.
For instance, I never was much interested in Borderlands, got it on PS+ at no extra charge and boom! I am a huge fan. I bought Borderlands 2 and had a blast with it.

This is a phrase used in pure speculation. It should never, ever be confused as if someone were stating a fact. I am trying not to snark here as I am left with two conclusions: one that the readers of my comment really don't know the connotation of that phrase, or that two their reading comprehension is really poor.

If violent video games made people more violent, then violence in the USA would have increased as games became more violent. *Checks FBI Database* Nope. The relationship is completely inverse.
As games have become more violent, actual violence in society (rape, murder, assault, robbery, GTA) have decreased to a level not seen in 4 decades.
The correct word should have been "Assumption."

It is a 90+. I wouldn't give it a 10 because there were some clipping issues early in the introduction. After that small snafu, the game becomes so engrossing!

How do you know what or why this happening? Why should they release a statement? Have you seen any industry that tracks the comings and goings of employees from one firm to another?
It would be great if they were all leaving to form a new studio.. that is a perfect hit list to make new IPs.
Maniac, see my trolling comment above for an honest evaluation of what you say. I don't entirely disagree with you, I just know that the bubble system keeps this site from being a total troll fest.
I don't claim the bubble system is perfect, it isn't but it still is responsibility. If there is a better system I would love to have it implemented. But no system at all would be worse.
Better question: How can it not? The procurement of OuyaRift by Facebook pretty much guarantees that it won't be about gaming.
That means Morpheus (which is confirmed to work with PS4) will be about gaming.
