They didn't say it has no SP. This claim is from IGN and is being repeated.
I am not counting it out until I hear it from EA.
In fact, you can do couch co-op or online. The SP has only been referred to as "missions."
I think one reason is that publishers and salesmen promise all sorts of things without consulting the actually people doing the work.
There is nothing wrong with reasonable timetables, but don't promise a game's release date until it goes gold. There, no more delays.
The trailer looks like SP (especially the scene with Vader.)
Since gamergate is dying down this attention addict has to try to hype it back up.
