He already confirmed Dragon quest xi for consoles. He is thinking about a western release. He also mentioned that they wouldn't make a dqxi announcement until after heroes had launched because they didn't want it (xi) to overshadow heroes.
All of this was known months ago so I can't find the proper story to give the url.
Apparently clickbait articles will never stop.
What is a genre's "in games?"
This game is going to be so incredibly immersive. And it is exactly what I want. If the game has more than what is already advertised then I will be pleasantly surprised. But, this game just looks fantastic from my perspective.
Open Galaxy... sounds perfect. Exploring and discovering new life is exactly what I want for the human race, I can follow my fantasy of traveling through the cosmos and learning about it all.
Console: Atari 2600 Adventure. Asteroids was great and I loved it, but Adventure was the game that brought me back again and again. It fired my imagination.
Arcade: Speed Rumbler because it revealed that there was more to games than just shooting or driving. Here was a game that allowed you to get out of your vehicle, shoot enemies and enter another vehicle and continue on the journey.
RPG: Ultima IV for the Commodore 64. Just being able to traverse that...
Now this is fun. I have been wanting bounties like this for awhile now. And the way others join in and can be part of this as if it were a combination, public event/ bounty is incredible. Absolutely love it!
SO now even unannounced games are getting hate. Give it a rest.
I'll see your Resogun with Pixar's Up. And I'll raise you one walking dead season one.
@allabove just wondering which unreleased game you haven't played yet is worse: the division or sw battlefront?
And if this one had space battles but no Jedi or Sith, then they would complain about that.
There are no space battles in a plethora of star wars games dating back to the Atari 2600.
I think we've reached the point where GTA should be similar in scope to the Fallout games.
Give me more of a geographical area. I know they kind of do that, but it could be more massive, maybe not world spanning, but a continent or country...
And, Toronto would be pretty cool.
Indeed. The only reason W or I should be used is to delineate origin.
It's the scrum that makes it fun. I said I'm biased. I played flanker and 8 man. I was also scrum captain on my college team so yeah, union is better. :þ
Articles like this bring out the worst. A better article would be a breakdown of all racing games and what makes them great.
I still don't know what I want because all I hear is fanboy noise like this article. My favorite racer is Burnout Paradise.
Which game will give me a similar experience? That is what articles should be about. Inform readers. Trying to discern what is a good racer based on comments is futile.
Agree, proper rugby games should be union. I'm biased, but league always seems like those games you played as kids where you just tackle the kid with the ball. We called it "kill the carrier"
I'm close to it. That and lbp2 are my closest but I just can't ace the 2nd to last level on lbp2.
I do have Skyrim though.
Bloodborne is also huge. Maybe they are using similar tech.
If I were a developer, my posted release date would always be February 29th, unless it's a leap year. Then I'd release it when it was ready.
That would be odd considering they've already mentioned dq xi for consoles.
