Not only has that been in the game since launch....so have massive space battles. Their frequency was quite low, but thanks to youtube, we have seen many (even if some people never encountered them.)

I don't have any problem and I routinely play EVE: Valkyrie, easily one of the hardest to get used to.
I think that if you let yourself get used to the VR by using the free stuff before going hardcore, you won't have this problem.
