@mogwaii,
Haven't tried it yet? You should, especially before espousing an opinion.
How sitting in the cockpit of a virtual X-Wing and going toe to toe with Tie Fighters wouldn't be an awesome experience for any SW fan would be mindboggling.
Of course, I am just speaking about people who love this hobby, not the bitter hateboys who hate all things gaming but then obsess over things months after a game's supposed "contr...
Awesome comment. But, if this is the beginning, wow.
7 reasons to buy it right effing now:
1: Star Wars Battlefront free VR Mission
2: Resident Evil 7
3: Battlezone
4: Eve: Valkyrie
5: VR Worlds (geeky reason explained above.)
6: Driveclub VR
7: Cinematic Mode
8: Rez Infinite
9: Job Simulator
OOPS! That's more than 7...
SO, it sold out in the UK, USA and Japan. This bodes well....very well.
I just got mine. I had tempered expectations. I am blown away. Though SWBF only has the one free mission, it is so incredibly immersive that there is very little that needs improvement.
I bought Eve Valkyrie but haven't even gotten to it yet. VR worlds is fun just to see what the tech can do, but the other games are just awesome and this is the beginning.
A thoughtful post. Please remember, don't feed the trolls. They are easily starved.
"Not get AAA support"
Nice try troll.
I do too. And after playing the SW Battlefront VR mission, the sky is the limit. I have never felt that enjoyment since I was a little kid holding my mommy's hand walking into see Empire Strikes Back.
Resident Evil 7 can be totally played in VR...or on your couch. That is the future and I think it will be wonderful.
Every VR experience I have had so far with the device has been mind blowing.
EDIT: Imagine what Naughty Dog, Guerr...
Why give these turds press, or notoriety? Sound like a bunch of sore losers.
So the chain mail that is on the update looks the same as the lack of chainmail on the left? Okay.
It's an upgrade.
Exactly. Ubisoft article? Queue the hate brigade! I haven't seen many publishers take as many risks this gen with new IPs. And that is what I like. So, maybe they all haven't been stellar, but that doesn't mean they aren't good.
I wonder if the hate brigade's gaming shelves look like this: Sportsball Roster Update 2000-2017 interspersed with Generic FPS Map Update 2000-2017.
...nor very accurate.
That is a good point but it is it erroneous. There have been a plethora of articles about console sales declining but none of them tell why.
Here is why: In 2015, we have the final years of the DS, PSP, X360, Wii and PS3. They are no longer supported in 2016 nor developed for in 2016. The decline in software sales on whole is because of the decline in software for those 5 platforms.
So, no it isn't declining. The PSVR was sold out across North Ame...
They are just arriving back in stock after being sold out since October in the UK and USA. So, yes, yes it can.
Go kick rocks.
Another launch window doom and gloom article. Gee, if these journos were such geniuses, the gaming industry would have died decades ago instead of being the multibillion dollar juggernaut that it is.
And it is in stock...for the moment.
I wonder if this "journo" will write an article about how no one really plays Adventure for the Atari 2600 anymore and how it must spell doom and gloom for the entire industry.
#6 Gamestop has them in stock, right now. Just ordered mine! Only 3 left at Amazon 1/23/2017 9:42 EST. Amazon's are not the standalone headset, but a bundle (not from scalpers.)
PSVR just arrived in stock in USA stores, just bought mine at gamestop. I'll get it in a few days.
As everyone has known the production problems they were having have been solved and it is on sale again in the USA (and hopefully in the UK.)
It was amazing how it was sold out in the USA and UK, but doomz and gloomz for hateboys huh?
Controversial?
It's a gaming console.

And you your prediction is completely wrong. Hilarious.
