I'm not saying the game is going to sell as much as FF VII, I just said it will be the Wii U's FF VII, push a lot of consoles and redefine the RPG genre.
Obviously its going to be tough for Xenoblade 2 to sell as much as FF VII. I don't think it will get anywhere near the sales of FF VII, I just think it will help move a lot of Wii U's,
The game will sell, trust me. Online Marketing is more effective than TV marketing. Market the game on websites, and GameInformer, YouTube. There's all sorts of marketing you can do.
I don't think it will sell as much as Final Fantasy VII, I just think it will move a decent amount of Wii U's and show developers how to use the Wii U Gamepad right in an RPG.
Nobody though Fire Emblem Awakening was going to sell, especially after FE Shadow Dragon d...
Just with about 10 billion more in the bank. And Ips that sell millions more. Best selling SEGA Dreamcast first party game was Sonic Adventure....2.5 million units.
So who was responsible for the DS, Wii, and 3DS's success? Iwata right? Wii -100 million, DS - 150 million, 3DS - 30 million.
Wii U about 4 million - sold more in the first 4 months on the market than the PS3 and Xbox 360. Currently has an attach rate of almost 4 games per console.
I'm not trying to say the Wii U is hitting it out of the park, but you gave absolutely no reason for your decision.
DS, Wii, 3DS are successful, Wii U is struggling a little bit out of the gate, still sold more than the PS3 and Xbox 360 in there first four months.... and Iwata needs to step down?
Right....that makes sense. Nintendo needs to make games faster.
Next gen isn't determined by tech specs, it's simply determined by the time you release your console.
Yeah, the Vita has been on the market for more than a year now, and it is being outsold by the Wii U on a worldwide basis.
The Wii U will sell well. Just give it some time for it's games to be released. Nintendo had a good launch, but lack of software screwed them for January and Feb.
All reports indicate that March was much better for the Wii U with the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Lego City, and Need for Speed U. April is going to be quiet, b...
Of course they are. There are a lot of confirmed exclusives for the Wii U that will help push units. Bayonetta 2, The Wonderful 101, Pikmin 2, Zelda, Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem.
Even Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate saw a boost in Wii U sales. We don't know if the PS4 and Xbox 720 are going to fly off shelves. Did the PS3 and Xbox 360 break any early sales records? Nope, so don't expect those system to destroy the Wii U sales, especially when it ...
The Wii U outsold the PS3 and Xbox 360 in their first four months on the market.
So your technically wrong. And the market in 2006 is different then, than it is now. If you think the PS4 and Xbox 720 are going to come out and fly off shelves at $400+.... you're in for a rude awakening.
We are currently in a economic recession. People don't have a much money to spend on gaming. That's why the walmart $99 Xbox's are flying off shelf, and the 3...
Actually, Unreal Engine 4 is coming to Wii U, it's just not supported by Epic themselves. Cry Engine 3 runs on Wii U, The Hedgehog Engine runs on Wii U, Ubisoft's Anvil Engine runs on Wii U. Unity, and Framework run on Wii U.
Unreal Engine 4 might not be anywhere near as successful as Unreal Engine 3. Many developers have their own engines for their games.

"You're kind of missing the point.
Only one of those is a new IP and many have been around for a long time and have either been forgotten or they're changed for the worse.
I am not saying they're not good games, but Nintendo show absolutely no interest in innovating or making new IPs. I know that's hard for some people to take, but I have seen it all before."
- How am I missing the poin...
This article is manipulating data to support their point.
@PirateThom
They have more than Mario and Zelda.
Shin Megami X Fire Emblem, Bayonetta 2, Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101, Kirby, Smash Bros, Metroid, Star Fox , F-Zero, Donkey Kong Country
Since when has the most powerful hardware won a console race? Using that as a reason is flawed, and has never provided a winner in the past.
I agree Sony has some good first party exclusives, so that's more of a reason they might win, than power.
However, Sony does have technology in the PS4 that can block used games that is up to the publisher to decide if they want to use it.
Not to mention, we don't know the price of the PS4 and...
Can the DS compete with PSP? Can the 3DS compete with the Vita?
People buy Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games.... so yes Nintendo can and will compete.
Who the hell is "You Guys"?
Yeah, it's way too early to declare a winner, and this article is clearly looking for "fanboy hits" Let's take a wait and see approach. Because I saw these same articles when it was PSP vs DS, PSV vs 3DS, PS3+Xbox 360 vs Wii.... and we all know how those turned out.
The PS2 had a stellar lineup of Japanese RPGs. The PS4 is going to have a majority of Western based shooting games.
Even Sony's Japanese studio is making a Western Style game. The PS2 was balanced with it's game collection. The PS3 will be dominated by Western devs.
He was, some people were even saying: What does this guy know, he made RAGE.
Nice, keep up the good work man.
