Pachter, admit it, you were wrong on the Xbox One. It's expensive, slightly less powerful than the PS4, and will only work and launch in a few countries this year. It has crippling DRM issues, no used games, no renting games, and a heavy focus on TV and other features outside of gaming.
Just like the 3DS Pachter.....you're wrong. PS4 and Wii U are going to smoke the Xbox One this gen unless Microsoft lowers the price, and gets rid of all the crazy restrictions.
Of course it can: Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros, and The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD are all in 1080p and 60FPS
NG2 was not funded by Microsoft. Only published. It was a timed exclusive from the beginning. This is a different situation.
Metal Gear Franchise sells a lot more than Bayonetta. That's why Konami Didn't pick it up.

It needs it's own unique characters. I like how they announced Mega Man. He fits. Bring back Sonic and that's it for third party characters.
Nintendo can dip into their games to fill out the rest of the roster.

I don't think Sony outplayed Nintendo. Nintendo had the most confirmed exclusives for this year, cheapest price, and is the only next gen system that offers free online multiplayer and backward compatibility.
