I would agree with you if the climbing and Jumping in Uncharted wasnt so automated. As far as shooting goes control wise and cover system wise Splinter Cell Conviction has a great system in place in my opinion better than Uncharted. Uncharted is a better game but SC cover system and shooting is awesome.
Gameplay is more important than story for the most part. A example: Enslaved, great story bad gameplay. Suffering sales. Enslaved has a amazing story and it does so many things right story telling wise. But the gameplay really cripples the funfactor of the game overall for me. I would gladly trade Enslaved excellent story for better controls, no autojumping, more combos, better level design, 60 FPS instead of 30 FPS and no slow down when multiple enemies on screen.

I don't care about 3D. I just want to play a Pokemon game with updated graphics, sound, control and online play on the 3DS. Kid Icaris, Legend of Zelda, and Resident Evil all look sweet too. I don't care if there in 3D or not.
God of war still isn't in 60 FPS though. Bayonetta runs at 60fps most of the time on 360 and I like it more than God of War because of the smooth gameplay and the emphasis on gameplay over story. Bayonetta does so many innovative things gameplay wise its insane and i really enjoyed Bayonetta more than GOW even though GOW had a better story.
I've been saying this for a while now. I haven't played Heavy Rain much other than a demo but from that the controls feel awkward but the QTE are spot on. As far as Uncharted I also have problems with the gameplay. Uncharted is one of those auto-jump games. Instead of taking the time to create good platforming controls for the jumping in Uncharted the game just automatically judges how far you need to go and gets you there no matter what. Enslaved has the same problem. Developers need...
Nope.... not happening. Maybe in Japan...... LOL. But not while I have a 46" LED Samsung and 5.1 DTS surround sound. So im going to replace that with a 5" screen. The NGP is cool and all but come on in not going to spend 300+ on a NGP then probably 50 bucks plus on games. I got a PS3, 360, and Wii and im cool with that.
I surprised it sold that much. I played the game I even got all the achievement points on the 360 in the game. But the combat is bad, the controls are stiff, and there isn't much replay value. The story is excellent though.
Its a portable. I don't need a million features that I probably won't use. Especially 3G. I heard there are 2 models though. 1 for $299 and a 3G model $349. Thats a little too much for me. I think at some point the NGP will be $199 and I think thats when I will get it.
I got other games and systems to play. When Zelda is ready to be released I'll buy it.
I agree every person here as downloaded a MP3 off the internet and didn't think twice about it. But since its games people here start talking about how bad it is. Music is the same thing! A lot of hipocrites are opening there mouth around here. Maybe game publishers CEO's and high ranking officials shouldn't make so much F-ing money to where they can lower the cost of games and there would not be so much piracy.

I think the 3DS and the Wii 2 will do well. Heres how: Market to casuals, Release Mario, Pokemon, Zelda and Wii Sports games.

3DS cause of the games. Pokemon, Kid Icaris, and Resident Evil Revelations. But honestly when they make a new Pokemon game for the 3DS with the updated graphics, online play, and 3D. Not only that but with street and spot pass Pokemon can be revolutionized.
Not really, At least not enough for it to be a significant amount. Pricing is Key but honestly. Mario, Metroid, Zelda, and the Megaton: Pokemon. Games like Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros and Pokemon are bonafide system sellers. People who like these games will always buy a Nintendo portable. Will there be people who opt for the NGP instead of the 3DS Yes..... But you can say the it will be the other way around too, especially if the price of the NGP is over $300 and the 3DS is $250.
While Pokemon is the same game over and over again.... so is everything that is really popular: COD, Halo, Madden...ect. I think the difference with me and Pokemon this time around is there actually going to have a proper online with rankings, stats, items that can won and collected and random online battles. These were all missing in previous Pokemon titles. And with so many Pokemon to collect and them adding new 3 on 3 battles that doesnt sound like much but there is serious strategy in it....

While I agree this is really stupid.... I really hate friend codes, At least we only have to enter one per a system instead of each individual game. And if your in the same room as the somebody else with a 3DS it will automatically exchange friend codes.
I dont really see the need for this though..... they can make sure bad names are reported like MS and Sony does. And they can easily block bad works out...... ...
I though I was going to get the NGP but man I look at the but I am a absolute sucker for Pokemon! I put over 1000 hours into Pearl and Platinum. I know Im going to drain a gang of time into Black or White. I want to see Some footage of the New Pokemon game at E3. The visuals in the DS games look so dated.
Yeah Im really happy about DK at 4.21 million. This is Retro's most commercially successful game they have made for Nintendo which ensures that we will probably see another Retro project at E3.
WE'll never see a fully featured console pokemon game cuz Nintendo doesn't want to subsidize there sales on the DS. The 3DS is almost or as powerful as Wii so we should get pretty much a Wii pokemon game on the 3DS within the next 2 years
