moderate lag on line and bottlenecking on every single player campaign. I haven't seen a review of a smoothly played game yet.
That's true on how console's are shipped but not during lauch. Launch qty's aren't plentiful and as everyone knows of sony's woe's in this area, so no, there wont be weekly shipments made.
But, good luck with that fantasy. Wii on the other hand will be plentiful and so are there lauch gaming titles.
I mean for all, all systems, not just sony. Also, the only way you'd get one next week is if the shipment came from Ebgames warehouse that's holding them, but unless you get a sony official statement saying this, then don't believe it.
Also, these guys at stores like EB aren't video insiders, they know basically what it say's online, just like you and I do. There games, and system's come straight from the manufacturer and not a warehouse so they get it when they get it. They do see...
They were trying to be kind to sony, due to there poor shipping and showing of poor ps2 looking games for the ps3. In fact, R-FOM isn't great to play, I thought the single player was ps2ish and the character I watched was turning around and another player walked through him, just like in poorly done ps2 games, it was sad to see. The dude playing it (my neighbor) is a sony fan and he said naa, that will be fixed in a patch in a few days., lol. No way Duane, it was crap and the multi live play...
This launch has been planned for how long? And there going to ship such a limited amount, numbers actually being quoted of less than 400,000 and "NOW" there supposedly going to be shipping more in 1 week, not true, unless that next shipment is like 3 unit's.

The dev.s can, are, and have been working on titles LONG before dev. kits came out, they do this on a PC by using system specs and the game engine, It's easy and has been and is being done for a long time, how else do you think almost 2 years ago you saw MGS4 footage, of course which looks like crap today compared to the CGi they mostly showed back then.

Sony, Nintendo, are just like Microsoft in that they've already laid out a future machine. A box, an empty box and as they go along, they begin to use trial and error in testing idea's and what if's for that box. Then maybe 4 years from now, they'll have it and begin to assemble it to see if it's actually doable as they want it to be. Each and every day, little by little, we'll all see the problems, glitches, the bottlenecking, the ps2 quality graphics and gaming from the ps3. I hope things get better by summer of 07 for sony or else the ps3 will become the next Atari 64.
From what I'm hearing from people, it's more like even the name is a deterent for BR as HD-DVD sounds like it's a universal DVD upgrade as it goes naturally w/HDTV's, but BR doesn't, it sounds more like it's a device that's only for sony games and movies and it is actually, so NO, there's no way sony can or will win this one.

This is really going to bring immersion in a game to a newer level. The character interaction live or AI is open dialogue and will change with each and every play through.
I don't know what multiplayer on live will be like but I see it's going to be one HELL of a ride!!
I can't wait! Bungie and MS were smart in delivering the way that they are. By giving us a Dec. 60 sec. preview, it's going to sway many that may of been thinking Wii or ps3, so when they see the AWESOME graphics and game play, they'll walk this way and Jump Inn!
Also giving us a chance to plaay it live multi for spring is a ball busting hell of a good time!! And this feature will do the same "swaying" of some gamers in Eurpoe that may of been awaiting a spring ps3 so...

It's an underpowered RSX and cell 256 each and no not freely accesable so don't use that crap, it's handicapped so the only way is to do 15 to 30 fps and 480P or 720P and restrict either backgrounds or AI info etc..
