Most TV's don't do it yet and in fact most person's TV's barely do 480P so no. There's other area's that could of benefited the gaming audience instead of waisting time and money on this.
1080P in games will be bigger in say 3 years but most aren't going running to buy a first release TV with unproven 1080P yet. Most will be quite happy if they can have 720P. Everyone';s sweet sopt. Yes, even sony's.

They started getting there ps3 systems earlier this morning. , well what there is of them anyway's. I'm sure whether good or bad, you'll be hearing some flow of info from the Japanese audiences soon. They've had all day to play them so there should be a trickle or two soon.
If he had/has out an AAA title then he'd have room to talk but otherwise it just sounds like sour grapes.

The slightly weaker and handicapped rsx and cell graphical combo w/256 + 256 (thats not easliy or unified useable at will) will only have a seemingly equal graphics or game play version when there's a ported game that's to be made playable on both but as with COD3, it's much better on the Xbox 360 w/60fps etc...more detailed environments ...
But still yes, the ps3 will have some eventual great games, the developers will find a way to make it look good as well.
Sony and the ps3 are an absolute joke in this business today. Microsoft atleast has there hearts in the right place for the gamers unlike sony.

Sony ps3 showing a graphical edge? Only a blind man would say that, there's no graphical edge, maybe a graphical handicap, but "NO" edge.
Other than lair and R-FOM, there's no sony title looking and playing very well past a 7.0 rating, and R-FOM has latelly been put down as being just ok and not the title all had hoped for so don't begin your lies and get your panties in a bunch.

Hmmm, lets see, Japan w/an almost 1 billion population sold out of it's 80,000 to 100,000 ps3's by noon or so, wow, riveting content. Sad, this isn't news worthy nor was the rest of the story.
