Bioware has become a laughing stock ever since they released Mass Effect 3, Dragon Age 2, and The Old republic. Mass effect 3 while not terrible, is hands down the sloppiest in the entire series, while having the worst ending to a series that once promised so much, and seemed to deliver on their promises, but they started to faulter a little bit after the first game.

PC games have been "Next gen" for a pretty long time now. It was just a case of consoles literally holding back the PC in terms of graphics. That's why you hear PC gamers squeal and wretch when they find out games now need 3gb of vram or more to be able to play at the best possible settings, since they almost never needed that before then.
