Personally, idk how to feel about Nintendo Girls Club. Based on the intro trailer, there were some games in there that may be considered unisex like Mario Kart, Super Mario 3D Land, Animal Crossing, and other types of games. I feel like if anything Nintendo Girls Club could be rebranded as Nintendo Kids Club and get away with it. That being said. I find it especially interesting that they chose young girls as the “beginners” to target. Are there not young boys that are also beginners or do bo...
I'm not sure how to feel about this...:/
I'm so ready for this game!!!!
I need Metroid in my life. I'm actually kind of surprised we won't see ReVeN until next year. That's a long ways away. Then again, they are a small development team.
Hopefully they listen more down the line and get better. One thing Nintendo doesn't know HOW to do is sell hype. They are still very modest and Japanese, no offense lol. In the west we like hype and explosions, Nintendo keeps it tame and level. We over here don't like that lol. Being secretive is ok, but being TOO secretive can hurt Nintendo, which up until yesterday was the case. Notice how positive Nintendo news was yesterday because people had something to look forward to. Now it...
Dravidian: For Wii U games? Not really. 3DS, yes. They could have given windows for Bayonetta 2, X, and Smash Bros.
They don't get it lol. They don't understand that content no longer woos the people anymore. It's pure hype and keeping your name in people's mouths that gets gamers excited for your products. It sucks, but it's the mere truth.
I don't think so. They could have focused more on indie titles coming to Wii U or at least release WINDOWS for some of these games.
Basically. The only good things announced were Little Mac and a release date for Mario Kart.
You get a cookie lmao!!!!
Yeah Iwata touched on that in the investors meeting. It sucks that we have to wait yet another generation for Nintendo to get it right. I know that the Wii U is capable of something similar now, so hopefully down the line we begin to see the fruits of it. For instance, there were some updates that the 360 got that wasn't there at launch setting the framework for what it's seen now of the X1. Nintendo needs a good update. They aren't even fully using that gig dedicated to the OS. T...
I don't think most "hardcore" gamers today could handle F-Zero. That game is hard af unless they put in a casual mode like they did with Fire Emblem: Awakening. I don't think gamers today can deal with games on that order anymore lol. Imagine the break downs from F-Zero GX or Melee lol.
With the increase in gamepad controllers for smart phone games, I think that will change. Developers are taking note that there is a market for mobile games and they are responding appropriately.
Thanks for the update!
Personally I believe that mobile games are heavily slept on. They aren't console quality yet, but they can get there quicker than people want to believe.
Of course it is lol. Now when I get it on my PlayStation device and not my Nintendo device....don't act like you don't know why the Wii U version didn't sell, Ubisoft.
On topic with the article, though. They're not saying Nintendo should go third party, they're saying Nintendo may need business help and help with console building. Personally, I think Nintendo does a good job at creating hardware. The only thing they need help with is finding modern ways to implement these ideas. The Wii U gamepad imo is a good idea, but the architecture could have been more developer friendly which is the Wii U's biggest issue right now. The Wii U strength is fi...
Nintendo's hardware and software go hand in hand. Even Nintendo themselves have said that they build their hardware specifically for their games and vice versa. Contrary to what people wish to believe, in the end they always make a profit on their hardware and software even when they aren't the frontrunners. Sony has been losing money on hardware for years, but should they stop making consoles? No because in the end they are still making products people enjoy and they should continue...
Even though Infamous looks great and has a somewhat realistic design, you can still tell it's a video game. It's still very stylized.
Out of all titles to save Wii U...Donkey Kong?! LMAO!!!!!!!!!
