I thought the same, but I have the OG ps4, and a 4k TV. It looks a lot better than a 1080p TV. PS5 will hopefully give my TV the console it needs.
Neither as I'm happy with my OG ps4. None of them warrant me spending up to $500, as I'm waiting for next gen. But, if I had to, then I would go for the Pro, because games, loyalty, and as a brand, I don't like what Xbox has tried to do with gaming. I've had Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Atari, Amstrad... And other computers and consoles, and a 360, but since playstation 1, gaming has always been at its best with Sony, and Nintendo.
The thing is... When the Xbox has been out a month or so, what news for Xbox is going to be on here? Upgrades to 5+ year old games etc. There's no doubting the power behind the hood, and current games will look good, but I can't see there being much else.
The way KNRG is talking about it, it seems it will be far better than UFC2. Moving while you strike, no parry, no combo multiplying, UT has been revamped, and loads more. I'm looking forward to see how it plays. I really like UFC2, but it needed improved in a lot of places. Still won't buy it new, because it's EA, but will buy in the first week if it lives up to my high expectations.
Cam girl, eh? She should be ashamed.
It definitely looks more crisp on the X.
True. 500 I'd pay. And as you say, the console cycle is minimum 5 years, plus you can make money back by selling it when the next gen arrives. And I'm not one for splashing cash on pointless crap.
While I agree, the only problem with that price is that a lot of kids want the consoles, and parents may not be willing to pay that. For a 5 year cycle, then I wouldn't see that price as a personal problem, but they want to sell to as many consumers as possible. I wasn't blown away this gen, really. TLOU2 and a few others seem to be pushing the hardware a lot more now though.
They will not cost $600, they will cost $1,000,000,000.
I agree. This gen just didn't feel like a massive leap. Granted a lot of the games are now looking better, especially Sony exclusives, but all in all, I felt quite let down by the power this gen.
Probably down voted because you used playstation as an example.
Yep. That's a good deal. My trusty OG ps4 is still going strong though.
Blops2 was the last one I played. I liked it for a quick blast. Didn't take to any after that, but will probably pick this up at some point.
Because he's probably sad.
So many games to look forward to. I'm hoping TLOU2 online will have bigger battles, and maybe a camp raid similar to MGO fob, but with multiple players, rewards etc. Can't wait to see how the story pans out, too. Been back on TLOU the past few days trying to platinum it.
He's said this before. I think Xbox would be better off without Phil. Sure, he's a gamer at heart, but I don't think he is doing the Xbox brand any good. He's had years to do anything other than cancel games, talk the talk etc. There is little to no substance when it comes to him actually delivering on what he promises.
Although the Xbox X does play more games in native 4k, I think both Sony and Microsoft should have put 4k ready on their products, or 4k compatible. Maybe next gen 4k will be standard, but I'd be happier if the power went into better AI, more lively worlds, and pushed the experience far deeper with the tools they have. I'd be happy with 60fps and checkerboard rendering, too. Just my opinion.
Buy pre-owned from the big guns and don't pay a penny in microtransactions. Been doing it for years.
I'll buy it when it hits that price. Don't like all the futuristic shooters, and I'm not a big COD fan, but it will be a good pick up and play kinda game. Battlefield completely destroys COD, and I'll stick to that for the foreseeable future.
Blow in cartridge, blow in cartridge slot, put game in, pull out, put in = game would work haha.
