A lot will, but I think a good amount won't. I certainly won't.

I just bought Horizon. Got it for $20 from best buy. While it is a beautiful game, I feel it gets repetitive pretty fast. I'm only level 12, but I can already tell, apart from the robots, it isn't much different from a lot of open world action/rpg games. Just my opinion. But as I said in another post, I may have open world fatigue. Just redone fallout and metal gear.
The X is definitely a powerful machine, and it has some great features to boot. Definitely a lot more capable than the Pro in a lot of ways. Still holding off for the PS5, but looks good.
Hopefully this will start a snowball effect, and push publishers away from fleecing the gamers who already spend a good amount of money on their products. I really hope EA suffer financially from this; they deserve to.

Just bought the main game a couple of days ago, and I can see why everyone says it's so good looking. Visually it's amazing, but it's so repetitive. I'm only about 9 hours in, and I'm getting kinda bored with it already, though, I could be getting fatigued by open world games. I was honestly expecting something more.
What they've done is shocking. Shady as f**k. I hope it bombs, although, I doubt it will.
It's a small victory for gamers, but a victory non the less. This is the kind of thing that brings gamers together, and for the better.

That's missing the point. Any gamer who actually values where the industry goes would not just sit back and keep feeding the monster that is killing it. One day you become more aware of the bigger picture.

The Pro doesn't interest me, but the Xbox has some quality features. I'd never buy an Xbox though. I'll wait for PS5.
