I'm with you. I don't really care that they changed the notifications.
It isn't because it is Japanese. Europe just prefers the PlayStation over the Xbox, but the 360 was, for some time, the more popular console in the UK. But all over the rest of Europe the PlayStation was king; and it still is.

I just bought uncharted 4 yesterday. So far it is pretty amazing. I look forward to seeing more about this new addition.
Thats partly the reason I stopped supporting Microsoft and Xbox after the 360. I just hate the way they spin tbings and treat their loyal customers. As a brand, I think it has turned into a terrible mess. The Scorpio does sound good on paper, but the 6 teraflops isn't enough to make me think anything other than it will offer more of the same....which going by the Xbox 1, isn't all too much in the way of games and support.
I bought witches 3 last week on a pan sale, but I just can't get into it. I enjoy rpg games... I'm not sure if I'm just growing tired of gaming, or if it just isn't my game. The only thing thats stopping me buying HZD is if I spend $60 and feel the same about that.

2018? No chance. I'd say early 2020, and it will have more than 10 teraflops. If the pro is around 4 and the Scorpio around 6, then for a new generation it will need to at least double the Scorpio, and I'm sure they are already working out what they need and how much of a leap they will need, too. Just my opinion though.
This. Like the music industry too. So many artists lose money on single and album sales due to free streaming sites like spotify and google play. Sure, Netflix has some good original content, but movies and games are completely different, and the cost difference can be huge too. Digital may well be the future, and even I have started buying digital (when games are on a sale at a cheaper cost), but I think new titles should have automatic passes to sell for full retail price, or a little less...
I think we shwould all join forces and make some sort of appreciation group via Twitter or Reddit. For every dumb, PC, and outright abnormal story we read about some loser with a pointless agenda, we reply to them directly with human honesty about how f*****g stupid they are being, and support these games designers with their visions and our words. I wouldn't want it to fail. They do have a lot of great studios and franchises, but the money in the gaming industry is mostly in 1st person shooters and sports games...(in my opinion).
It would be good if Nintendo made a true, powerful console for once, gained more 3rd party contracts, but still kept its great, original games too...only with graphics and engines that compete with Sony and Microsoft. But I don't think Nintendo care too much about power. Just my two cents.
I bought BF1 for $30 on the psn flash sale. Could have got both for $50, which is a great deal, but one is enough for now as I have a few games I need to get good at or play through first.

There is no way it will be any less than $500. They have the xbox-S as the standard, and to justify it is a premium console they will sell at a premium price. They may bundle it with a game, but they need to sell this vision they have been talking about for so long, and it won't be for $350.
I know. I spent over a year just playing mgo2. I lost interest pretty quickly in mgo3. The modes are crap and its just a poor watered down version of mgo2. Shame as the mechanics are amazing.
The best online game ive played. I don't want to buy another ps3, but I wish mgo3 was just like mgo2... Damn, this is great news for ps3 owners/metal gear fans. Mgo3 is nowhere near as good...
Very good reviews all round for this game. It would be nice to see Nintendo become like they were in the snes days. I'm a Sony player, but Nintendo will always have my respect. I may buy a switch later on in the year.
I'll download the ps4 games. Tearaway for the kids (and me), and I will give disc jam a bash. Can't grumble with free games (yes, I know you still have to sub).
