I'm gonna be honest. I really didn't find Shadows of Mordor that great. I mean, it was definitely good, and the nemesis system was interesting (to a point), but there was also a lot I didn't like.

Same here, I feel the parkour system really sells Dying Light. I didn't know about the breakable roofs until I landed on one and it scared the crap outta me.
Actually I have a feeling they'll be heading to Cairo, Egypt. AC Rogue had a dropped employee log in Abstergo talking about the location, and at the end of Dead Kings it references Cairo.
That actually seems very interesting. It's so seemingly simple that its not intimidating. Love the art style too.
