"9. Finally admit that today, years after it was released, it was okay to change the color of Connor’s sash from the crimson red of Ezio and Altair to a nice royal blue, and that it really wasn’t worth having seven two hour meetings about."
I like this guy.
Now I get it. Because Marvel's Spider-Man is the first AAA game in years to not have a message forced in your face, the journalists have to start making up ones.
Yes, because even though the game is fantastic and an absolute joy to play, what I was really itching for was a sub-section of the game where Spider-Man has to act as a witness in court.
Deserve is probably not the best word to use here.
For one, because almost all of it is exclusively one-sided. I wouldn't mind political or philosophical connotations if it wasn't the same drivel that's peddled in every other form of media today. There's a difference between presenting a point and just lecturing someone.
Secondly, I just don't want to think about politics when I play a game. I play it mostly to relax or have fun.
dats a lot of points
Well-deserved! The game is fantastic.
perfect.
Hell, if you would've asked me this question 4 years ago, I would've said you were full of it. But now, it's a legitimate question. I say it won't, but only for the sake of game collecting and libraries, as many digital-only games nowadays are getting physical releases as well.
Yes please, I want.
I'm okay with this.
I agree wholeheartedly. I especially love the emphasis on how Origins not being a good Assassin's Creed game doesn't make it a bad game in general.
For me, I was always skeptical of Origins since the first gameplay reveal. I more enjoyed bustling urban settings than large open settings, so the time period this time being Ancient Egypt put me off. The combat being different, and general progression being completely overhauled, Origins looked very strange. Regardless,...
If that Sanic t-shirt is true, I'm bumping up my final score by a full point.
Now this was something I wasn't expecting to know today.
Look, as an artist and writer who indulges in the intricacies of plot structure, emotional symbolism, and other hunky junky gooey stuff, I get it. Games can orchestrate higher forms of art and they've shown to do that in the past and even now. It's without a doubt that standard form of reviewing doesn't really capture the whole essence of what a game can be in terms of qualities outside the norm.
But that isn't the job of the reviewer. As a consumer, sure, y...
It's fucking Mario. Chill.
I would say they didn't keep true to the Life is Strange world at all, because Before the Storm actually contains characters I care about and good writing.
Any chance we can get footage of these lesbian exotics infusing?
Reminder: This is real.
Considering Spider-Man has been dominating and it coming out right before this, it's not that weird.
