They released there next gen system early, killing the original xbox prematurely, which at the time was the most capable console on the market. Screwing over the consumer three fold by realeasing faulty hardware, with one of the greatest hardware failure rates in history (my launch 360 rrd after two weeks), and no next gen drive, or standard harddrive! Also double AA battery controller,.... C'mon

bla bla bla... pc defence force out in full effect now that they are starting to get a clear edge in game development(battlefield3 crysis2), cause when it comes to hardware they have always been the the best as long as you have deep pockets! It's ok though cause no matter what console gamer's enjoy more games, and all share equal platforms!!

Kenict just like the Move, is a gimmick product the for the consumer in all of us. It was made to milk the consumer and extend the life of current consoles, and try too keep up too the status quo the wii has made and enjoys to this day. Be it the first successful motion controller system or the latest product to break though to the causual market. Microsoft and Sony both want a piece of the pie.

Ico has inspired so many other great game, how could you knock it. He is surley just trying to be controversial. Even recent games like Majin, are still borrowing from Ico, most fundamental gameplay mecahnics. Metal Gear Solid 2 escort level ring a bell. Infity Ward is just better a their job! They earned the respect of the media and gamers alike, because they are good game developers. With COD4 they kinda set the status quo, a new bench mark, and everybody has been trying to take them down ever since, including Treyarch fans.
maybe they had to modify or downgrade the engine, to add all the new feature, rc car(there kinda fast), and match recording, i don't know, food for thought

I'm at level 15 multiplayer so far, just playing team death match. The Modern Warfare games are way better, this game feels and looks so sloppy. Only talking about multiplayer, since call of duty for me is all about the multiplayer. Don't get me wrong it's still a fun game, just doesn't feel polished, the controller's are as tight as modern warfare 2, or COD4! playing ps3 version, maybe the 360, is a bit better?!
But isn't a gears rip off. It's does alot of new things to stand on it's own two. Slide dashing for example, and really different guns, and weapons. There is one gun that dishes out circular blades, kinda come around like a boomerang, and can take out two or three weaker robots, and just limbs off of bigger ones. And the obvious is that Gears is gothic scifi, where Vanquish is uber scifi....
I finished the first Act in about 1.5 yesterday, died about ten times. I think there are like 5 acts, 4-5 seems about right. One things forsure thought. I'll be playing throught this game atleast one more time, it's that much fun. Games as polished as this are just a blast to play, messing up robots and watching them blow up just dose't get old. So far no cheap tricks, nor backtracking, to give it longer legs. Just pure fun! By the way trophies seem super easy, got like 10 so far...
