slate91 I'm paying attention, don't worry. MS made it perfectly clear that they don't care about consoles anymore. Xbox as a service and a brand will be fine, but their consoles are going to take a big hit.
MS first? nice joke. Their best showing was Keanu Reeves and Cyberpunk. Next gen is going to be worse for Xbox. They have nothing new to offer games-wise and the brand is nowhere near as big as Playstation and Nintendo worldwide.

Sure, but this one isn't a 1:1 remake. It's more of a reimagening wth lots of new story and side content. I guess the main story will take about 20-30 hours + another 10-20 for the side stuff.
I don't see a problem with that if the game is great (judging by the demo it is) and has a lot of content.

If i was Sony, i'd go for: Insomniac, Kojima Productions, CD Project, Atlus and some Konami IP's like MGS, Castlevania and Silent Hill. Bluepoint would be pretty good too. 3 AAA teams, 1 for JRPGs and 1 specifically for remakes.
MGS4 by far. 5 didn't even feel like an MGS game. Too much focus on open world instead of story, mediocre characters, non existing boss fights and the music wasn't that good either.

I bet you wouldn't say that if Xbox had true exclusives. And the weakest platform still belongs to MS. It's called the Xbox One S.

Maybe in the US. The ps3 was selling at a faster rate in europe and surpassed 360 sales by mid 2008. Mind you the ps3 launched in march 2007 here and was ~200€ more expensive.
Well deserved. Sure, it's not on par with the likes of Uncharted, TLOU or GOW, but nowhere near as bad as some critics want you to believe. Actually it's a pretty good game IMO.
