Better shadows are nice but what makes the PS5 version trully superior are the Dualsense features. A rythm game like this works great with haptic feedback.
Ghostwire Tokyo had an extra year for the Xbox port and it still looks and performs worse on Xbox.

It's pretty simple actually. If FF games and JRPGs sold extremely well on Xbox, Square wouldn't have taken the deal with Sony.
PC gaming also gets you shader compilation stutter in UE4/5 games, which is not fixable by the end user no matter the hardware. Nothing better than having 100+ fps on a 800€ GPU with freezes and micro stutters just because your GPU has too draw in a shader, right? Even better, every time you update your GPU drivers it overwrites the existing shader profile. AAA games in general more often than not launch like crap on PC these days and you have to wait months for them to get fixed, if ever. P...
By your logic, the Series S + Gamepass should be the best selling console right now but it isn't, not even close. People do have the option for the cheaper alternative and still opt for a PS5.
It's funny that Xbox players had to wait for a PS5 release to get a physical version.
With GTA6 and Microsoft going third party, it's the best possible time.

People don't care about Xbox no matter how much money MS has. Their future is multiplat.
The worst that can happen here is less PC ports, which might be a good or bad thing depending on how you look at it.
