Well played, Riotshieldman.
So I guess the lesson is: If you're a gaming site looking for hits, a surefire bet is to photoshop yourself a fake "leaked" GTA V screen.
I agree. A good chunk of the market is starving for jrpg's. Millions of FF fans have been waiting for a true FF game for years, and they could have that part of the market cornered, rather than trying to blend in and make FF just another lame, linear action RPG.
["Should Final Fantasy become a new type of the game or should Final Fantasy not become a new type of game?" company CEO Yoichi Wada remarked to Gamasutra in July last year. "The customers have diff...
Exactly. No one minded waiting for a FF title, never have. Just as long as it was worth the wait. The last thing we need is for them to try n pump out a FF every year or two.
Forget about western development and just work on one AAA title at a time. Finish Versus and get it out, restore fans faith in the series. That would be a start in the right direction.
an IMDb cast list is confirmation of absolutely nothing.
Cool beans.
Fair enough, but in this case, nostalgia's got nothin to do with it.
Really? Kids these days.... The Simpsons haven't been remotely funny for at least a good 10 years. 90's Simpsons > Zombie Simpsons.
@YodaCracker
If that's true, that explains why the 360 version may look better in the LoT comparison, but not why the PS3 version looks worse.
The comparison video I saw showed the PS3 version looking way better than the 360, yet this comparison the PS3 version looks washed out. Not sure what to think.
One time, I sold my soul for a donut. Not worth it.
Hooked on phonics worked for me!!!
I think he meant "alluded to" not "eluded". English is hard.
"Crazy Christians" ... Isn't that a little redundant?
I'm Canadian, and I can confirm that we are indeed to blame. Sorry...
Totally agree. I feel like I'm actually being trolled by a game developer. I honestly have no idea why they make the decisions they make anymore.
It's not even as if they're making decisions that, although they piss us off, are smart business decisions. No. The decisions they're making are mutually detrimental to them and the fans.
There are simple, easy and obvious solutions to SE's problems. I can't understand why they ignore them....
I like having the choice. That way you can be the good guy the first play through, and a murderous prick the second, third and fourth. Let gamers decide how they want to play for themselves, thank you very much.
Censorship (if you can call it that) like this is a slippery slope, as far as I'm concerned.
Versus XIII or GTFO.
For me, it wasn't the tone of IV that was the problem (in fact I like the more serious/realistic approach); it was the repetitive nature of it. Not enough creativity and variance, in as far as gameplay.
I hope they make the city more interactive and alive this time around. It gets boring just driving from point A to point B when everything in between is veritably empty space.
I'm always super excited for GTA games, have been since the original c...
The thing is, they're missing the point. Why set an arbitrary amount of time for their development cycles? Fans just want a great FF game, and however long (within reason) it takes to make it right, is how long they should spend making it. Why does it either have to take 1 year or 6? Must they go to both extremes?
SE needs new leadership in a bad way; preferably someone with vision. I suppose I shouldn't complain, after all, it is progress that SE finally realizes t...
