nice try troll, but I'm sure the game isn't split into 3 discs, the other discs are most certainly extra content/making of.
Edit: And even if we did have to switch discs, the difference is when the ps3 has 2 discs of game, it means 100gigs of content, and THAT'S worth getting up and changing discs.
Considering it's text. Maybe it seemed funnier in your head.
"How can I get a bunch of hits? Bash Uncharted 2? Avoid having to explain myself, be fair or unbiased? And still come out a sympathetic character?..... I've got it!"
There's difference between getting it, and agreeing with it.
He could have written about his friends tragedy, and the important things in life, without riddling the article with digs at U2 (and ONLY U2), very specific ones that do nothing to accentuate his overall point. He made this about U2 when he singled it out when talking about a broad issue, it was very transparent. Why doesn't everyone who posts an opinion follow it up with a personal tragedy or a friends tragedy and then they aren't accountable for what they say.
So I feel for his friend, but why would he single out Uncharted 2? it has nothing to do with the subject matter, other than to get hits because it's a popular game. If he's trying to contrast and compare the important things in life to entertainment, still there's no reason to single out Uncharted 2 rather than talk about the industry as a whole, it seems like it's his way of saying some negative things about U2, but you won't jump all over him about it because of the sad story that follows. ...
They certainly didn't "kill" any rumor. They just reiterated old news and pawned off paraphrasing for quotes. Honestly, there's absolutely nothing of substance here.
I just finished it on hard, and I've never played such a fun, cohesive, action packed game. The controls and cover system was far from sluggish IMO, I found it simple and streamlined making gun battles a pleasure and a real cinematic experience. This guy can't figure out which way to go and blames the game for it, his issues with the game are a joke, navigating through this game was a gas. This guy hasn't even played through the game and he thinks he's in a position to write an article about ...
What are you talking about? Are you trying to tell me you had a different ending? And for the record aside from the ending it's one of my favorite games, so you have no clue what you're talking about.
in a very underwhelming fashion. It didn't show any aftermath, plus you couldn't continue playing side quests.
That was my opinion, I'm entitled to say I think your comment was a rant, and over the top. Take your own advice if you don;t like it and don't read my comments. Jackass.
Nobody has a problem with meta, you made that up. People have a problem with reviewers being unfairly harsh on a game that is a milestone for the industry as a whole, people have a problem with the allegation that it's unoriginal, people have a problem with the many games before it that were nowhere near the caliber of U2 that got a pass on the same things they bash this game for. Meta critic in theory, just adds up the scores to make an average, nobody has a problem with that, hence making y...
It's everything within the game that makes it original or unoriginal. What other game does the media judged this way, and specifically point out the one flaw they can come up with in an otherwise stellar (to say the least) game? Even a wildly original game like LBP has Familiar plots and themes if you break it down to the core, but that's just the skeleton of the game, the meat of it is the way all the elements come together to form an experience. They act like they're reviewing a movie... At...
I used to rent a Sega Saturn from my local Blockbuster, it was so exciting. Panzer Dragoon and Daytona USA.
the meta score is still the same, I don't see how the average stays unaffected
But now I'm starting to think there's something to this. This would be a huge catch for Sony, and of coarse PS3 owners, ME2 will be an awesome game.
Edit: Also just out of curiosity I may be thinking of something else, but didn't the peeps down at Bioware not have very nice things to say about the PS3 a while back? Or did I just pull that out of my @ss?
Using the CAPS LOCK on every other word is annoying, and although i don't think much of Turn 10 or Forza, you're way over the top here, and it's bordering on a fanboyish rant. Comment after long comment telling people not to buy the game, and really just repeating yourself over and over.
"That takes a commitment to physics, not just about making sure you have beautiful graphics. "
So somehow because GT5 has beautiful graphics it means they haven't committed to physics? Keep tryin guys. They can't get away with lying about F3 looking better now that we've seen both, so next they decide to toot their own horn and insult PD in regard to physics, something GT has never been guilty of not being committed to. Every other day Turn 10 has something negative to ...
When in doubt just call everyone a fanboy right? They clearly explained the reasoning behind their opinion, people aren't fanboys just because you disagree. It's just gotten so stale this whole calling everyone a fanboy thing. The real fanboys are usually the ones calling everyone a fanboy, just to insult people, rather than typing a well thought out response. I suggest you wipe that word from your vocabulary, you are equipped to properly use it.
Edit: And just for the record, in...
no matter how bad you want it, Microsoft will never love you back....
