+ for common sense.
I'm happy with what we have at the moment. It's only been a year and I have plenty to keep me occupied up until 2015, and this not including what still to come this year. Consoles always have a slow start...but there have been slower, e.g. when I got my PS3.
we have a good 12 months ahead. No point wishing time away to get there.
halo, mgs4, killzone, gran tourismo, Uncharted, gears of war, the last of us, little big planet and many more are most definitely not just tech demos.
Johny5 - power down.
This is the first Final Fantasy I've looked forward to since FF10. It's looking absolutely amazing! The graphics are crazy-good! I hope the gameplay and story are as good. I want to get lost in Final Fantasy again.
This, Metal Gear, Uncharted and The Division... hoping for Fallout news soon too.
I never buy any of the above. I remember buying Tiger Woods 2012 and halfway through a tournament I couldn't play half the courses! With the amount of money we pay for a game, it shouldn't have parts missing. Never bought Tiger Woods since and any EA game I buy, I buy from eBay.
I think he just put down the games he's played lol. It's not the most in depth list...I've seen more depth in a puddle!
That's the 3rd one. The brawls were great in it, eh?
No Chase HQ? Road Rash? Lol.
I'd love for them to do a current-Gen-only Yakuza. Make it a lot more interactive and atmospheric. Keep the fighting system but overhaul the graphics and it would add a hell of a depth of atmosphere. This franchise is as close as we can get to Shenmue for now.
What happenedt to Mad Max?
@magnes. I still have the dreamcast at my dad's along with my old master system and nes...mega drive too I think. I might dig them out next time I visit and show my 6 year old what gaming used to be like lol.
Does the VG stand for Vaguely Guessing Chartz?...Very Gullible?...hmmmm....Va Ginal?...
Beats me.
I had the afterglow on my ps3. Got them for £40 on eBay and they were a real bargain. Great sound and very comfortable. I recommend these.
Good list. I liked the dreamcast but I only ever really played shenmui on it lol. Oh and the fishing game.

This and assassins creed are two very different games, but for the both of them being period games I just feel this will suck me in to the feeling of being in that world more than assassins creed could...and that's because it's linear.
I feel we will appreciate the surroundings and atmosphere a lot more. In AC it's nice but it plays second fiddle to parkour and typical point A/B goals.
I can't wait to play this with my headset on and in my living room chilling ...
How original! I wish I was as quick witted and original as you... best... troll... ever!
Heavy Rain was very story driven and that was a great game. Metal Gear is also very cinematic and is my favourite franchise ever! More and more games are becoming more cinematic as we have better hardware that can pull us into the story with better graphics and audio.
RAD have only really given us a demo of one level and its an old one at that. You can't judge a full game on an early demo. I have faith that this game might surprise a lot of people... especially those who call it l...
I think it will sell to a point, but even when Halo 4 came out it lasted up until the new COD came out and e everyone had moved on. I don't think Halo is as relevant as it used to be. For it's time it was amazing and unique, but I have quite a few hardcore Xbox mates who made the switch and also prefer other shooters nowadays compared to Halo.
I do agree on both counts though. Advertising always helps the people/sheeple who have no mind or any knowledge of videogames lol.
Hehe.
