Would be great to have seen the game in 60fps, but with a smaller team and as stated numerous delays maybe they dont want to push the game back any longer. They are clearly a very talented bunch and I can live with 30fps on my £350 piece of kit :)
Parity should be standard maybe if you own the inferior console, but every single dev should be optimising the best they can to push each console as much as they are capable of.
I think the resolution debate will always be there whether people say they do or dont notice the difference... resolution, textures, frame-rate and everything else should be taken advantage of if they have the correct tools to do so.
This is partly the reason Ubisoft are coming under so much scrutiny ...
Metal Gear will keep me entertained for months and its gonna piss my gf right off lol. I hope The Division turns out great, too, but I wont hold my breath. Also Uncharted and Rainbow 6.

I wouldnt say that. I know quite a few people who haven't made the jump yet, and more of them are going for Playstation rather than Xbox.

I really hope its a brand new version. I think there is too much talk about remastering games, which will make developers think thats what we really want instead of originality.

cant wait to play this game! I only own a PS4 as current-gen, so im happy. Either way its going to be a blast! No point arguing with strangers as its gonna happen a lot this gen.
If they dropped it by 50% in the UK, then I would buy one lol but there's nothing making me want to upgrade my 360. Another year or so down the line or when they release the slim I'll probably upgrade.
I dont ever see Xbox doing great in Japan... especially in today's market.

This is a reason I don't sell my older consoles for quite a while. My 60gb (500gb) ps3 has the capability to keep my memories playable without the hassle of paying all over again.
But similar to what you're saying - Sony and Microsoft are a business and profit will always be focal... In a perfect world they would integrate b/c or at least make it easier and cheaper to access their library of games, but that's not going to happen anytime soon until they go retro and put int...

I think it's time at least ONE shooter went back to WW era. The market is saturated with modern/futuristic shooters. With today's power we could have a real gritty WW shooter full of cinematic atmosphere and less hand-holding.
Give me a darker world with spotlights and fires... trenches and surprise.

In ten years when consoles can display decent looking games for it then yes... obviously PC is way ahead, but for a mass market and affordability its going to be at least another 10 years. By then prices will fall and iF its still relevant, then it could be the norm.
Affordability and true graphics is what will make it work IMO.
