i played it and i can tell you it deserves the high scores. yes its a shooter, no the graphics arent amazing. but the atmosphere is amazing and the campaign is amazing. its very intense. its refreshing to play a shooter again where you dont have to stop and hold L1/Left trigger to shoot accurately. that takes you out of the action i think. and your not taking cover doing pop and shoots. its very refreshing, very enjoyable
I play reach on JTAG 360. the forge world is great, but its not as good as they are hyping it. its not very big either, it looks big, but you get killed by the guardians if you try to go out of the relatively little boundary. its pretty much coagulation area, the ascension plateau, a little island in between and some water.
i love shooters, i probably play more shooters than anything else. as far as team based strategy? if your talking about socom i'd agree, Call of duty? no. also, the team based raids in world of warcraft are far more strategic than anything you'll ever do in call of duty. there is no strategy to call of duty games. it is shoot, reload, get shot from behind, respawn, hear kids on the mic being racist.
WoW is worth the price. the scope of that game is unmatched to anybody that knows the ins and outs. yeah Black Ops is 60 dollars, but after a probably short campaign, you do the same thing over and over. shoot, reload, shoot, reload, shoot, reload.
i played on jtag...its amazing. cant wait to buy the game when it comes out. btw i mainly play ps3 and love wii too so no i'm not a fanboy
actually Uncharted 2 is full of hackers
"There were a couple companies that were having trouble with this, like the makers of a little-known game called Final Fantasy VII."
i HATE when people say things like that. " a little game called halo, a little game called final fantasy." ok i get it, haha, you said its a little game, then you mention an extremely popular game, ironic. ha ha ha. shut the hell up with that, i'm so sick of seeing people say that now. or the "a little game called...
it looks kinda....alright. and they said it has the same graphical quality as uncharted. same color palette doesnt mean same graphical quality. but thats not what matters, the gameplay looks alright to me. but thats my opinion. not something i'm looking forward to but maybe i'll gamefly it
world of warcraft on 360? lol, more likely to be on ps3 if thats the case. also, no. it would have to be on all different servers since the gameplay would have to be majorly dumbed down to work on controller. however, a ps3 keyboard and mouse bundle would be awesome.
.
again, another WoW article that everybody looks at but is afraid to comment on because they might not look cool to everybody else. since when did it become popular to hate on WoW, the most successful, balanced, and refined MMO?
i agree with most of these to an extent, though i did enjoy most of the games, none of them deserve the praise. except maybe Metal Gear solid 2, which was excellent if your in the stealth mindset.
this franchise has no appeal at all anymore. even if it went back to its roots. the formula just doesnt have lasting power. and i'm not needlessly bashing, i've purchased and played a lot of the tony hawk games.
yes yes yes, there are zombies, yay, zombies. how shocking. the best feature from their last game gets used again!!! whoa, thats surprising! enough of the "there are zombies in black ops" articles now...please
cataclysm or old republic for online. both awesome.
they're milking the name with this one. this should be an all new name, like systemshock to bioshock
hopefully unreal tournament 4. you know, i think, if they just added grenades and melee to UT, it'd be amazing.
lol, first thing that popped in my head was hearing that in spiderman.
some games die so fast. i was in the resistance 2 beta and even played the game for a few weeks before i left it. i came back just months later and its a barren wasteland. same for ut3. only a few people on at any given time, and its the same people. not to mention nobody ever has mods so if you want to use mods your stuck by yourself.
the single player was awesome. he made the mistake saying it takes 12-14 hours. i played this game from 7:30 am and finished around 2 o'clock. 7 hours, 8 at best, depending on how well you play
