ok i'll go ahead and call out the big fat elephant in the room. another lord of the rings game that fails to be open world like so many fans want it to be. i'm not saying this doesnt have potential, i love the level up and loot type as much as the next person. but lotr fans want an oblivion style game thats not an mmo, thats just obvious
edit, yeah i know its not an mmo, players want an open world game that isnt mmo, aka, lord of the rings online
why such negativity
what the hell, where is Arthas's mighty weapon
Its hilarious how WoW news stories always get high temperature on here yet nobody comments on it. someones interested in it they just dont want to admit it, they might not look cool, you apparent wow haters are going to be all over blizzards new mmo even though its more than likely going to be a carbon copy of WoW gameplay wise
let the casuals have it? you call WoW casual yet you probably love MW2. its a deeper game than all of hte AAA games coming out. Not saying that those games arent awesome but come on. just because wow is extremely popular people started hating it. its popular for a reason. its not a tedious slow grinding experience like FFXI and its not boring to look at like LoTRO. What about eve online where you can sit in the same spot for hours not accomplishing much at all. the casuals you talk abo...
nice to see some games that usually go unnoticed
Demon's Souls or uncharted 2 i agree. possibly even killzone 2
they're making this game too easy for new people. and i dont agree with flying mounts for all zones. idk.
giving kotor to obsidian is like giving call of duty to treyarch.
weird to think there was already a hitman this generation. seems so long ago. seems last gen lol
definitely Twisted Metal, wasnt the last one a ps2 launch game? thats a long time man. I think David Jaffe is working on that though, hopefully
lol they used that to sucker people in to buying it, then hammered them with all the RPG
the story made it special and the environment. the voice acting was off but somehow it wasnt bothersome most of the time. sometimes it was just funny. but the combat felt great and most of the time you didnt have to do the mini games.
shenmue remains in my top 3 all time favorite games. its pure brilliance and way under appreciated
ive only played half of the first one on ps2 lol i really need to catch up
yeah i think its a good score, i think overall these games are not appreciated enough
great review, well deserved score
im sick of everything post apocalyptic being compared to fallout
lol sorry its not the unreal engine or overly shiny textures. i'd much rather look at these graphics than mass effect any day
yeah it would be awesome, middle earth is so large it would have to focus on just one region, maybe add more with expansion packs. but this is definitely not open world at all. more of an rpg co-op game.
