backwards computability is useless at least from my point of view...I could understand using it at the beginning of the systems life for the fact that not that many games exist yet..but really did you buy a nex gen console to play some old ass games? if so trade your PS3 in for a PS2 and a bunch of games..
chances are if you have the old games you have the old console and it aint like PS2s are so expensive...if you can afford a PS3 but you cant afford and 50 dollar console from p...

how about your online free? 100 dollar wireless? 20 dollar charge kit? defunct HD DVD addon? over priced hard drive? why does the 360 eat games? not to mention the InFamous RROD. i used to own one and encountered the RROD twice and had a game destroyed from my 360 scratching it.. so now if its not on PS3 or PC i aint worried about it, dont get me wrong they had good games but it wasnt worth the hassle.
