Milihighclub - you are so wrong. Both Scorpio and Neo have more powerful GPUs. The Xbox One S is just a regular Xbox One with a 4K bluray drive and hdmi 2 to upscale games to 4K TV. It is the same price as the Xbox One.

Luckily, outside of this forum, this is not how the majority of informed gamers think and act when feel threatened. Most gamers love choices and able to play their games on as many gaming platforms as possible. Having another platform that plays the same game as the one you already have doesn't affect anything. Console gamers will always preferred console gaming. Nothing will change.
I also get the impression that MS is leaving their Windows/PC market by releasing software like MS Office on Mac. Oh wait.

Microsoft and Spencer already said developers are free to use the Scorpio power anyway they want and 4k is not mandatory. They never said 4K was mandatory.

Developers are free to choose how they want to use that 6TFLOP of raw power as 4K is not mandatory. They can make 1080p games look pretty with all effects turn on at locked 60fps if they chose to do so. So Call of Duty next year, you'll see the Scorpio version comes out on top as the best console version of them all.

It will be the most powerful console ever created and able to play up to 4K natively for games, is compatible with PC VR headset, and all your Xbox One games and accessories work with it.
