They can spin the issue all they want, but when it comes down to all seriousness, the REAL reason they switched sides is because of money. It's not like they weren't enjoying the larger market share that Blu-Ray offered.
I think it's because it's something new and developers are still not sure what to do with it to make it work effectively. Most games we have seen it in it hasn't worked very well or has actually hindered gameplay, but when the tilt is done right, a game can actually have a new element of play without sacrificing the core mechanic. I think the problem is that it's something different and that people are more willing to b1tch about it and how they want their old way of playing, rather than give...
Lookin' good. I like the damage modeling, though the pieces seem a bit too "plastic-y" to me...
Yep! 60FPS and almost near identical to a PC running at high settings. This is awesome.
edit: this also reaffirms my faith in the game that at least the framerate won't be dumbed down for the console version. I was afraid that Epic wouldn't be able to make the game look that good and still have it run 60fps on the PS3 hardware. I guess my fears were for nothing!
Yeah, we already knew that Epic would be featuring the six-axis in the game, but it's really good to know that they pulled off the functionality without a hitch. This game is in my top three most wanted games this holiday!
But this is cool. Approved.
but the lighting in this game is amazing! I'm so glad that Infinity Ward is back at the helm of this game, because CoD 3 was pretty disappointing.
Looking forward to this game!
But I heard it was good. The fact that Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver is one of my most favorite games of all time (not an exaggeration), i'm sure this game will be great!
While i'm excited about Killzone 2 as everyone else, I would still like to see more gameplay videos and more areas of the game highlighted.
I agree with you on the Call of Duty thing as well. That game looks friggin' sweet and it's nice to know that both console versions of the game will be running equally smooth.
If we're going down that route, looks like i'll be playing Unreal Tournament III on my PS3 as well, which not only looks better than Gears of War, but also supports Keyboard and Mouse and PC mod support.
You'll be lucky if Epic figures out how to do mods before March of next year, let alone being able to play with the best FPS control method on your 360.
You get some of the greatest FPS gaming known to man all in one neat package. What's not to love?
Lots of good stuff coming out for the PS3, even if shortsighted fanboys can't agree with that.
I love the art direction on this game! Haha, the beginning of that video is a winner, with the gibs and blood flying everywhere.
But i'll approve this because it's Bioshock!
I have been waiting to hear details on the PSP GPS system, and this is just what I wanted to read. Now if we could get a solid release date for the US, i'd be set.
But I laughed my ass off anyway!
Most of these shots have been taken with the cloud cover over the world, and with it looking almost like it's at night. Plus it's a war-torn, industrialized world, made to look cold and foreboding. I for one am actually liking the art direction, as it's not as bright and flashy as some of the other shooters are trying to aim for (I won't name names here). The game looks like it won't pull punches on presentation. If you watched the E3 trailer, you would have seen that above the clouds is a br...
There were some shots released a few days ago that had full color and brightness and everything and were of better quality. Still, these are good and any look at the game is O.K. in my book.
Unless you are driving on ice, I don't know how you equate that to happening in real life, especially if you have traction control and ECS on a vehicle. Your post doesn't make any sense.
Yeah I think they mean Playstation consoles in general. 140 million PS3's would be daft, even for Sony.
I see we have a lurking troll disagreeing with people for no reason
