Also, this news makes sense considering that they are making the PS3 the lead SKU. Usually developers favor DLC on the console that they devleop for first and foremost. Hence the DLC in GTA IV (even though yes, I know MS paid for that), and the Fallout 3 DLC (we already know that the developers are using the 360 as the lead dev platform).
I love when people plainly try to put out there that they own the PS3 and 360 and then blatantly bash one system to try to gain attention...
Why is it that when PS3 games look better than 360 games, people say "oh, just a couple textures here and there", but when a game has the SAME EXACT DIFFERENCE on the "better" 360 version, everyone is always quick to jump on it as being light years ahead?
I'll never understand the fanboy double standard...
Why does a game need to hold your hand with a story and a concept to be considered a game? With this game, you can create any "game" you want to, whether it's a puzzle action game, a straight up platformer, or a technology / physics demonstration for your friends. The possibilities are nearly endless, and that is why this title is receiving the attention that it is.
Media Molecule have created something special here, and it deserves all the hype it can get.

Anyone who plays this game and doesn't enjoy themselves needs to have their gamer status revoked.
The way my room is set up, it's hard to run cabling around and position speakers in a way that can send audio to the correct positions when people sit and watch movies. If I was to buy this, I could have no trouble putting speakers where they would matter most.
Plus I know it would be compatible with my Sony television and my PS3, so no worries about setup troubles.

Technically, Gears of War IS Epic (If you know what I mean, lol)
Most gamers simply don't have the attention span to handle games like MGS 4. They want twitch shooters and multiplayer frag-fests with no storyline.
Games like MGS 4 are a storytelling breed that is slowly dying out.
Why do you bother to hide it?
I first saw this in Game Informer a while back and thought "Wow, that game sounds cool". It's a shame that it didn't work out like I had hoped it would...
This would be a huge asset to the community features of PSN, IMO.
Oh well, still looks like a good update. Besides, I haven't been on any of my consoles in a little while (namely my PS3), so I am kind of backlogged with all the new stuff they've been releasing over the PSN.
