Deflection and excuses! Way to go, Ausbo!
LOL! Who needs georgenoob when we have comments like this one?
Yeah, I'll be buying an XOne to experience all it has to offer, but I don't see enough compelling software besides Sunset Overdrive and a few other far off titles. I'll probably pick a One up in a couple years when the price hopefully is dropped again to match the lower powered hardware when compared to the PS4.
Alexkoepp, The only thing that is shameful is your consistent, blatant trolling.
Oh man guys, hold on a second! PowerOfGreen knows something a developer doesn't! We should all listen to his rational, non-biased advice! In fact, why do we even get developer interviews at all? We should just ask PowerOfgreen from here on out. After all, he designed the Xbox One so he naturally knows the most about it.
Really, dude?
/facepalm
Yeah, I haven't been stoked for E3 in a while, but this one is definitely one to watch for. I played the crap out of the system, trying everything it had when I got mine at launch. But now the only game I'm playing consistently is NBA 2k14 with my friends. I was thinking of picking up Watch Dogs, but the games I'm really looking forward to aren't out til the end of this year, early next year.
I agree, the Flotsam area of the game was one of my favorite parts. I have some nice screenshots with delightful Godrays coming through the trees.
Nope, it's Ready at Dawn's built-from-scratch engine. No Unreal Engine technology used here... ;)
If you have no interest in this game, then you're here to troll. No interest in the mythology, cool weapons, stuff you haven't even heard about? Just here to troll the QTE's, which the developers have said are trying something different than the standard "press X,[],O" to proceed".
edit:
Every game is in some way a clone of something else. Games, movies, books... they all use some idea, trope, etc. that has been done before. The key...
I remember when people said the game was downgraded because they saw different uniforms in the video. But then it was discovered that the developers changed the uniforms to make them more situation appropriate, as they're not going to be wearing full ceremonial uniforms during an infiltration mission. I just can't wait to see other enemies besides humans. The whole reason I am excited for this game is because of the supernatural element and the cool weapons. That arc gun is certainly ...
Why the hell not? It's the closest thing to being there. Hrm, watch it on a comparatively small screen at your house, or a giant theater projection with highly superior sound. Decisions, decisions...
@ Thatoneguythere
PowerOfGreen is still here; he is just crusading around with his (still) one bubble as MorePowerOfGreen. Even though he's super delusional to the point of still believing in the secret sauce, I can at least respect the fact that he sticks to his fanboy guns and stands up for his console of choice.
I remember people like PoG, Jason360, Bloodmask, socomnick, odion, Vega75 and more. Pretty good amount of Microsoft stalwarts at the time.
You assume too much. I've been too busy playing Blu Ray games to notice any piracy problems on my PS3, and now my PS4. U Mad? Keep working on that PCPS3 emulator that is nearly impossible to get viably, efficiently working. The irony of your argument? Microsoft has designed both of their consoles to be as close to PC's as possible.
Did I hit a nerve? Cool story, BRO. Keep pirating for great justice!
Could just be the time it came out and that I hadn't played any games like it before, but Metal Gear Solid will be forever known as the greatest Metal Gear game ever.
Yeah, now let's see Sucker Punch use their PS4 skills on a non-inFAMOUS related tangent! I'm stoked for their next IP!
Dunno the extent of games that used dynamic resolution, but one of the most notable and most impressive games was Wipeout HD on PS3. That game had a fluctuating resolution algorithm but still managed fluid 1080p ouptut. I hope Sony isn't sitting on the IP now that Studio Liverpool was shuttered...
ID Tech is overrated, and without efficient streaming measures in place, you get texture pop-in everywhere. Wolfenstein gets this, but still has some issues with texture streaming. What really needs to happen is the last-gen consoles losing support and developers pressing forward using only next-gen assets. Watch Dogs is a pretty game but you can tell that Ubisoft is still pandering to last gen hardware. I cannot wait until we reach the first year in this current hardware cycle and we start t...
