Sucker Punch deserves all the accolades it can garner for delivering such an amazingly engrossing, richly detailed next generation experience. So early in this console cycle and we are already seeing games this gorgeous, imagine what we'll see in another year or so!
I hope that they put this game on PS+ for a free trial.
While all this media functionality and video streaming is nice, someday I wish we would just play games on our consoles...
@ PowerofGreen
Great assumptions you have there; I wonder how you could have possibly led yourself to those conclusions? What internal force leads you to adopt such a persistent anti-Sony stance?
I get a kick out of how hard you work on being an anti-Sony troll! Keep it up!
This card is for professionals in the industry and for research purposes
I know you are being sarcastic, but considering this card is aimed mainly at professional graphic artists and computational brute force, I don't think most consumers will be utilizing this.
Damn, beastforlife went off on Mystogan. Looks like he's got a valid point, however!
I have a Sony NEX-6 camera and the OLED electronic viewfinder is so nice and vibrant. I hope Sony chooses OLED for Morpheus.
@ above
Wow, that's what I get for typing on my phone...
It should read:
*Still, Infamous "AND" GTA are pretty different even *THOUGH* they are both open world games.
GTA V, maybe, since (IMO) IV was a disappointment. Still, infamous in GTA are pretty different even know they're open world games.
Are you referring to the Last Starfighter?
Bummer? So an 8 is a bad score? Why do we even have a review matrix? Apparently, anything under a 9 these days is considered a flop.
"It all adds up to a tremendously fun, X-Men-esque romp through Seattle. Second Son isn't perfect and it spends sometimes tries too hard to be X-Men-like."
And there's the problem right there...
/facepalm
LOL! I didn't even realize it was that bad. Thanks for the corrections, and the laugh!
LOL @ your denial!!!
Developers need to cut the crap this generation and start showing console footage from the get-go instead of trying to fool people with suped-up PC footage. Can't wait until more console exclusive games are released so we can see what titles will actually look like.
Edit:
I think regardless of what side gamers are on,we can all agree this needs to start happening.
If they charged a reduced price like Sony did for Starhawk, I think it'd be worth it. Otherwise, it's like Ground Zeroes: About 20 bucks too expensive.
That is, until Sony releases a glut of more consoles into the wild like they did just in time for TitanFall to come out.
Sony... those sneaky bastards :)
Oculus will always be superior because it has a PC backing it up, but I must say Morpheus is impressive for running on a 400 dollar box.
I guarantee that a PSMove coupled with a VR headset would provide more accuracy and tactile feedback than just using your hands. It's easier to hold the PS Move in your hand and pretend it's a sword than just to hold your hand out and pretend you're gripping something.
I don't see why people are making a big deal over the camera requirement, as the Oculus Rift also needs a camera to work.
Down the line I can see Move being nothing more than a...
Damn, that was quick! Wish I had that much time on my hands...
