Nintendo actually did really good surprisingly, considering all the negativity surrounding them leading up to this point. Really, how can you hate on a Mario maker?

I'm hoping that scene was just because he was meeting that creature for the first time, from what it looked like anyway, and that there will actually be more gameplay and interactivity and the levels. I'm surprised I never thought of that. It is evolution studios after all; since they made MotorStorm, it wouldn't be that hard to incorporate trucks and make it work. Even just racing semis would be awesome, all those turbos spooling up.

Did anyone really believe that it wasn't rendering real time? Naughty Dog teased they had something epic to show even though it was only that - a teaser. Do people still doubt Naughty Dog? People really think that ND will follow the rest of the industry and show non real time footage?

Well it's sort of like how the Move was started on PS2 with the EyeToy, then worked it's way up to the PS3 with the handheld peripheral, now on the PS4 as part of the controller and soon in Project Morpheus. The progression will continue, as the idea is a constant work in progress.
If anything, Project Beast is going to be the next true PlayStation exclusive successor to Demon's Souls. In my top 3 most anticipated games so far and all we've seen is a teaser. I have full confidence that From Software will deliver a new classic in the making.
The problem is that so many leaks happen, and so many things were announced earlier this year, that it's harder to achieve shock and awe. I'm hoping Sony drops some real megaton announcements!
