i suppose it's possible that it may come to ps3. not likely. but if it does, great. the more ppl who get to enjoy it, the better.
isn't it funny the difference in mentality between the ps3 and 360 fans. 360 fans just seem to be happy to get great games. ps3 fans take it personally when games go multiplat.
at any rate. the reason i think it's not going to happen for sony is because if it were, MS would have definitely shown mass effect in an attempt to one up th...
no, i own both systems. but it's pretty clear which one has the better library and online community.
i was offering him a suggestion. you see...he owns a ps3 and doesn't enjoy it. so maybe the thing he needs is to try a different system if he wants to continue being a gamer.
nice try though. i'm sure you aren't at all a fanboy. usually ppl who make those claims are though.
Trade your PS3 for a 360.
oh, that reminds me. tonight is the premier of 1 vs 100 on xbox live. gotta go
funny how the guy who gives himself agrees and bubbles feels that he is in any position to talk.
and it's funny cuz you're clearly a ps3 fanboy and they haven't done anything but steal MS's ideas a year after MS comes up with em.
ppl like you try to take away from real innovation in a lame effort to build up the one company you choose to support. and it's silly because the only "innovation" sony has is the blu-ray. and you guys have rallied behind that ON...
"Nothing was innovative, just improved on current and past ideas. "
first of all, that's a pretty asinine statement since ideas are automatically "past ideas." throwing current in there was just filler so you could try to add legitimacy to your statement.
second, i'm pretty sure the camera motion cap was pretty innovative. i'm pretty sure being able to stream to your own personal radio stations while playing your games is pretty damn innovativ...
considering this was the first day of the show and nintendo and sony haven't gone yet.
but honestly, i don't see how either of em can top MS in terms of content.
From the Facebook and twitter thing, to the last.fm, to the movie resolution upgrade. then confirmed releases for a buncha really exciting looking titles including alan wake and now Metal Gear. Then proving forza is a contender against GT. and to top it all off, motion capture that will easily rival the w...
gwave is one of the biggest ps3 fanboy trolls on n4g.
better just prepare yourselves for a lot of loathing coming from the ps3 community. i'm surprised we haven't heard about any suicides after the MGS announcement yet.
we weren't saying they were bad titles. we were saying while the ps3 fanboys like to trash halo and say it's a franchise being milked, they seem to forget just how many of their IPs have, in some cases, over a dozen more sequels and spin offs.
nothing on MGS couldn't be done on 360. the only thing would be, you'd have to swap discs. and i would much rather spend a few seconds swapping a disc than watching snake smoke for 5 minutes while the next act loads. it's not like mgs is an open world game where everything needs to be loaded at once. it could easily be done on multiple dvds. the only thing they'd have to change from the actual game would be those ridiculous comments they make directly about the ps3. like the comment abo...
i thought Nintendo's press conference last year was pretty embarrassing. they just came out, basically said "we got nothin, but thanks for all the money for our repackaged gamecube." but seeing someone slip and fall would def top that debacle. that would be great...as long as no body gets seriously hurt. unless it's cliffy b...then i'd be okay with it.
unbiased1 sounds like a pretty inappropriate name...
the actual number of prologue sales is 3.671958.
just thought i'd clear that up.
didn't realize there were so many GTs.
what i don't get is why ppl are so gun ho about trashing halo. if you don't like it, great. nobody gives a sh!t. that won't stop it from selling 10 million copies. obviously a few ppl like it. and as long as ppl are enjoying it, and it's selling, i say keep making em. let the overall gaming community decide. not a buncha egocentric fanboys who are too proud to buy a 360 and still obviously jealous because the copy cat console FPSes do...
but it's really starting to seem like EPIC is just whoring its name out to companies willing to pay for it. Gears of War was a hit but it had a lot of technical issues and most ps3 exclusive owners trashed talked it. Gears 2 was a good seller, but a much worse experience than the first one. So while i'm sure this game won't be complete crap, i think EPIC is one of the few companies that can get away with putting out average products that sell well on name alone. i own both systems so i re...
is definitely the best franchise exclusive to the ps3.
here's another source for about a minute of gameplay:
you guys all seem to agree that edge sucks, so stop reading their reviews. seems simple enough.
oh but wait, you all thrive on controversy. then you love to disagree with and take bubbles from anyone who offers a contrary opinion.
but here it goes anyway.
did any of you actually play inFamous? cuz i bought it a few days ago and played through. do you not see that the graphics are god awful? do you not notice all the little bugs and glitches like fal...
This is the sandbox game everyone should be talking about. not sure why this seems to be the least covered of the 3 coming out around this time. it's easily the most technically impressive.
you kidding?
go back and play san andreas again and tell me the npc character models aren't nearly the same as the ones in infamous. no only that, but the character animations in infamous are horrible.
then, you constantly get caught on invisible corners, fall through walls (i've actually fallen through the roof of a few buildings).
i'll admit, that parkour element is fun, but that's this game's only redeeming quality. when it comes to combat, graphics...
your comment doesn't make any sense. unimaginative doesn't mean unrealistic.
and this review NAILED IT.
To the PS3 fanboys: you don't have to auto-love every ps3 exclusive. it's not blasphemy. this game is very average and looks like a ps2 game.
@darkzilv: yeah, they nailed kz2 as well. nice to see some honest reviewers out there.
EDIT: Just to preempt the inevitable accusations that i am a 360 fanboy or don't actually have this game o...
i love gaming on my pc and all the systems. but lets face it, in order for them to get crysis on this generation of consoles, they are going to definitely have to "water down" quite a bit. with that said, i highly doubt crytek will disappoint the pc fans. it may not be a huge graphical leap from the first one (which is good cuz most computers still explode on the original), but it won't be a step backwards either. my guess is there will be some ai tweaks, water and physics tweak...
