give me an in-depth, complex rpg over call of duty pew pew pew part 8 any freaking day of the week.
Also, the best multiplayer for me is old school loot grabs like champions of norrath that i can play with my wife, or diablo 2 (cannot freaking wait for 3!!)
Though, the depth, strategy and sheer skill in starcraft 2 makes it hands down the best multiplayer game i have ever played without question.
So, for me, if i could only choose one type ...
lol.....guild wars gives more with one campaign than 95% of console games give with part 1, 2 and 3 (i.e. bioshock 1 and 2, arkham asylum 1,2, uncharted 1,2,3)
guild wars offers more value in one game to a gamer like myself and friends (gamers with refined tastes) than the entire wii library
hopefully they are back online by e3, im serious

i own over 400 pc games, 99.5% of them that are multiplat, squat over their console couterpart and spray brown insults all over them, looks at a game like bulletstorm, crysis 2, whatever, on console it looks like i am looking through a screen door covered in vasaline and rendered in 320p
on pc it is perfection, don't know what kind of $300 emachine laptop you play on, but i would never EVER buy a multiplat game on console.

every multiplat game ever made is 100% better on pc, better graphics, better/more control options, free mods, maps, total conversions, true hd vs. sub hd, actual anti aliasing versus ugly jaggies, cheaper prices

the graphics on pc maxed out are better than anything you will ever, EVER see from current gen consoles until the end of their time, uncharted 2,3, killzone 2, 3, god of war 3, alan wake, all look like absolute ASS standing next to metro2033 on pc in dx11 or even dx10.
Metro2033 PC will most likely own anything from the launch of ps4, wii2, and xbox720
people are way to quick to defend sony on this one, yes anyone could be hacked in theroy, sure, but it has taken them WAYYYY TOO LONG to get the service back up and running, it has taken a multi-billion dollor company two weeks to get it's network up, really, there are no failsafes in place????

create one, valves steam system wholeheartedly DESTROYS psn and xboxlive, as a user of all 3 i can say without a single doubt that valve has more game specific features, supports mods and has sales that make sales on its rivals look pitiful.
Not to mention their knowledge of engine propigation goes a long way, their dedication to their community and their ability to adapt dynamically to a changing game enviroment all speak volumes.

it will never, ever come close to the ps2...and one market for a global product is IRRELEVANT!
and honestly out of those supposed 50 million xbox360's sold, how many are in a landfill somewhere, i mean for the first 2 years half of them broke, now the failure rate is probably at 30%
so real actual 360's in peoples homes i'd put at about 28 million
honestly don't expect anything huge as far as differences, the engine will be refined a bit, uncharted 2 was an amazing looking game, 3 will be crazy beautiful as well, if you go in expecting a complete 100% increases in visual fidelity, your gonna be disappointed.
single player by far cysis 2, way more impressive and immersive( I played on pc max settings, 1920x1080, 60 frames constant)
multiplayer>>>> Halo reach utterly and completely destroys crysis 2 and this is coming from a major pc gamer who only occasionally uses my ps3 or 360, i still play and love me some halo reach, epic game, one of the best online console multiplayer games by far!!

There is no power left in current gen systems, thats why so many games lately have been coming in with less than 720p
many are in the 600p-640p catagory with little to no anti aliasing.

crysis 2 looks freaking AMAZING on my rig, better than anything any console will have until a year or two into the ps4 and xbox720, if those freaking things even do 1080p 60 frames with forced 32x anti aliasing, which i doubt they will
