So many people here criticized Redfall but this is even worse. Such a waste of millions to make this. Jim Ryan made the most corporate decisions possible.
They also completely removed all of the combat Rocksteady was good at. If this was a mulitplayer version of Arkham it could've been great. But I guess it still would've been suicide squad.
Exactly.
Whoever the project leads are on this also did a bad job with what they were given.
That's all true but whoever did the story, character designs and gameplay also didn't do a good job either. Even if they were forced to make suicide squad and it had to be games as a service they could've done better characters at least.
That's absurd and shows how ignorant you are. No one ever cared about other languages. It's forcing an agenda and virtue signaling/pandering that is the problem. The irony is the companies only do it because they think it's popular but as soon as they realize it isn't they won't care about "dei" anymore.
The story in metal gear solid 4 was already a huge step down from the first three. Then the story in V was minimized and totally forgettable. One of Kojimas art directors could definitely make a solid metal gear sequel.
Also when you compare Stranding to Kojimas previous games he could easily be a Neil Druckman type where most of his best ideas were from people he worked with.
For example all of the MGS covers and the art style associated with Metal Gear ...
Who cares? The game didn't sell well because the story was mediocre, the gameplay was tedious with too much walking and not enough action and the "case board" was poorly implemented. Also the first game is good but not great.
Epic wasn't the reason this game didn't sell well. And even if it was, Remedy decided to make the deal with them and not do a physical release.
Also why would any one want any films from Remedy? Look at Quantum ...
Ragnarok was a just a long escort mission with tedious puzzles and forgettable bosses. The new god of wars bosses don't even compare to any from the originals, they're all just people with tattoos. Lame. Such an overrated game. If it wasn't a Sony exclusive it'd be a 7 or an 8 at best. Horizon is also incredibly overrated with an even worse story.
And learn some grammar. You sound incompetent.
Why would it be the same size as the ps5? No reason it would be especially since one of the main criticisms was that it was oversized. The design was also bad so at least the pro should improve on it
This game was so overhyped and you can tell with the quick 90% drop in player count that the content just isn't that good.
Why are the levels just bland and empty deserts? That and such limited customization is probably why it has so few players now.
There was a lot of detail missing in V compared to IV though, maybe they could improve that in VI. Also the campaign had way too many pointless missions just to hear Trevor or Michael talk and the heists had too much set up and no real choices. Rockstar also got greedy and overemphasized the mutiplayer in V and cancelled all single player dlc.
The tone could also be more consistent in VI. Trevor was just a sillier version of Lynch from Kane and Lynch with no depth. And the ...
That's one of the worst aspects of Rockstar campaigns recently. So much padding and unnecessary gameplay for obvious exposition. And a lot of it is bad or pointless ex. Trevor's nonsense or redundant Micah and Dutch.
The gameplay in those missions can also be tedious when they have you moving shipping containers or flying a helicopter across the map to drop something off.
Why would developers have made up "placeholder" specs based on speculation in their own documents? With specific features no less. Makes no sense.
Now it's amazing? Really?
And it's so ridiculous that Pushsquare can't just legitimatly criticize a Sony product that really does look generic. They're bought and paid for. Whenever you start talking about "haters" instead of actually addressing any of the issues then you've lost.
Agreed, at least a 6.5 or 7 just since the shooting and graphics are solid. It's just super repetitive and the UI should be more customizable and not as cluttered. Also who actually likes hub locations where all you do is talk to random npcs?
People are always deflecting now, if the game had better content it wouldn't have lost this many players. Sure most games have a decrease after launch but not over 90%. This game was overhyped; levels take too long, bad customization, generic bug enemies. The robots are good but otherwise it's pretty bland.
It's a simple wave mode with no depth or variety, this type of gameplay used to be dlc or an extra mode. Not sure why it was ever as popular as it was, maybe...
It's really not that bad, the UI is cluttered and you have to talk to too many people in the hub but otherwise the graphics and shooting etc are pretty solid. Definitely needs more mission variety and the bosses can be bullet spongey but how is that different from Destiny etc.?
Why do you dislike it so much?

These are corporate owned first party studios. Also whoever the project leads were were pretty bad and maybe should at least be demoted. Even if the studio is shutdown when it's first party many of them will just find other jobs at the company.
This game not being successful discourages similar trash from being made.
