Time for Sony to land the killer blow!

As I said above. I think after their 2 bad conferences they took a good hard look at this 3rd conference, realised it was a dud, cancelled it and engineered the leak so they could just reveal the S and prices quickly.

This conference would have just brought another wave of bad press

The fake leak makes even more sense now.

They have had 2 very poor events now that attracted so much negative press. They clearly had a good look at this 3rd event and realised how much of a dud it was they cancelled it and blamed the “leak”. Thus simply revealing the series S and prices online

This conference proves Microsoft have absolutely nothing left before launch

I believe the term is a “PlayStation of colour” .....

You probably somehow give Microsoft credit for your conception

It’s still a better and more apt name

I saw someone on here call it the Xbox Craig. I think that’s how it needs to be referred to from now on

I just hope that ps5 sells overwhelmingly. If ms mandate third parties also release on the S maybe they will make there games PlayStation only rather than compromise their vision

Assassins creed is a current gen game and isn’t utilising next gen to its full potential. You only have to look at black flag from last gen. You should know this.

I’ve been saying the same thing since the S was announced. MS has effectively thrown a ball and chain around next gen. Well done.

MS needs to bomb hard. The future of AAA gaming is at stake.

“ The $299 Xbox Series S is just too good to pass up”

It is if you actually want a next gen console

Or perhaps it’s because Sony weren’t desperate enough to send people empty boxes to open

“ Xbox Series S could be the perfect kids console”

Oh dear. What has become of Xbox.

We’ve always known PlayStation is for mature gamers.

The kids can have their Xbox

@camelCase

The architecture is irrelevant.

“Scaling won’t be an issue”

“Scaling”
That word you used has just proved my point. There are simply things that just don’t scale if you are squeezing maximum capability out of significantly more powerful hardware. I’m talking about details in games that are developed. Not just sliders for better textures/shadows/lighting.

Games being made to “scale” to the series S a...

The big problem here is how Microsoft are strangling next gen. Make no mistake. The series S is their main console and it is significantly under powered. Like last gen when they released the one x. They admitted the S would continue to be their best seller.

The series S becoming their most adopted console will hold back 3rd party development. Significantly less powerful hardware always does. It’s less than half as powerful as the other consoles

Ratchet and clank is a next gen game designed at 4K 30fps. That’s the why there is a sacrifice to resolution to achieve 60fps. You pulled 1080p out your ass though.

Assassins creed is current gen. ps5 will run it 4K 60fps no problem

Not sure who this silly comment is aimed at. Buts it’s the xbots who seem to think they are experts on what the ps5 can and can’t do. Not the other way around.

You can bet the ps5 will be 60fps too. It seems to upset people when the ps5 performs the same. Xfans need those bragging rights for some pathetically odd reason

Again. Pure delusion. You will eat your words

Sony tweeted the PS5 logo. It became the most retweeted image in twitter history.

Sony live streamed the ps5 reveal. It was the most watched live stream in YouTube history.

It seems people on social media are far more excited for the ps5

Well I’m making a note of this statement. Sometimes I wonder how you xbots get so delusional
