Have we actually seen any cross gen titles running on X yet? We had dirt 5 which was reviled.
Xbox has marketing rights to some big games releasing along side SX. Cyberpunk and AC Valhalla. Yet not a single gameplay trailer with SX footage has been shown.
Sony has the rights to resident evil 8 and we have already had 2 gameplay trailers and the game only releases next year.

The ps5 is a bit taller. The SX is nearly twice as wide. They are both big consoles.

Yep. Just as many of us here knew. The ps5 is about to demolish Xbox in sales this launch and beyond.
There are many comments here from certain users that will be utterly laughable at launch when the figures are revealed.
I believe that ps5 has had about twice the amount of pre orders available than Xbox based on my research. Yet you can STILL pre order series S in the uk from the first round of pre orders.
Yet both ps5 models sell out ...

You are right. The games you listed aren't Sony first party. Although demon souls was originally co developed by Studio Japan so it could be considered 1st party. MLB is first party.

Battletoads isn't first party. Neither is Gears tactics, flight sim, Ori, Tell me why or any the Halo's mentioned as they were all made by Bungie.
So Age of empires 3 re release, bleeding edge, Minecraft dungeons, the bards tale and an early access Grounded is a record year for first party games. Seriously? There isn't one AAA first party game there

My point is Strauss Zelnick has no data on the next gen consoles.
Both MS and Sony will be closely monitoring demand for their respective consoles. They will have departments or outside firms doing nothing but working out demand based on countless data.

Sony are manufacturing 15 million ps5’s before end of March next year. Those aren’t going to be sitting on shelves and you would expect sales will drop somewhat in January.
That means they are expecting some serious sales this holiday.
I would say say 5 mil sales are guaranteed this holiday with 10 mil a possibility. Barring any unforeseen distribution problems due to covid

Sony has doubled production of the PS5. Make no mistake. This is down to internal data based on lead generation. We have had no word of MS doing the same.
It’s looking like Sony may sell through 10 million consoles this year which would be crazy.
It also looks like Sony will hand a bigger beating to the new Xbox consoles than they did against Xbox one.
PS5 is the only premium console releasing this year. Wifi 6, usb c, a unique cooling system, exceptional controller and what looks like a game changing UI.
So much effort has gone into every minute detail.
Let’s also not forget that ssd which is unlike anything else on the market
