Sold out before it released! Wild!!!
Neither company has many to go around. Why do you think Microsoft scaled back its launch?
You gotta remember that PS4 launched in more countries world wide than the One so less are available. Just two different strategies that's all.
I love my Kinect and I consider myself a hardcore gamer.
@dennett316
First question I would have is; have you sent much time with the Kinect? Because the voice control is quite reliable. My house is set up in such a way that I can see my living room from my kitchen and I can give commands from there with close to 90% effectiveness. And the key point is that it’s only been 2 weeks since launch.
In terms of the 1080p camera people that have used it to Skype call it "super Skype" because of how nice it works (soun...
You know its funny you say that. LOTS of people (almost all PS4 owners) say similar things "I'd never use it", "Sounds useless to me", ETC. on the 21st of November, I couldn't disagree with you, I thought it was something that was just there and we had to deal with it. Today, I sing a completely different tune. It doesn't work perfectly, and it isn't small. But it’s damn cool!
And lots of people say the PS4 camera can do the same stuff, a...
I can only add games to the list that are coming within 2 years (or as far as I can tell 2 years)
3.Destiny
2. Dragon Age
1. The Witcher (My most anticipated game of all time)
Sony does micro transactions to. They all do...If it was sooo bad Xbox's would be sitting on the shelf. And user reviews are through the roof on the one.
I know what your thinking so are Sony users. TO that I say, what does the PS Fanboy say? we got, we got, we got, power, we got we got, we got, power. what does the PS Fanboys say? We don't, we don't, we don't, have much to show for it....
You must not own a One or you would know things like Multi-tasking, rumble triggers, and cloud computing (i.e. Driveatars) are all about games. Imagine never having to boot up the game your playing, it goes right to your pause screen and your playing! The PS4 doesn't do that. Not only that I play games probably 10-12 hours a week, as I watch little to no TV, but when I do I like to do it all in one place. As do many people.
And calling PSN faster than live is just laugha...
So you think Microsoft should say "ok, we sold out right away, stop production because we don't want to confuse the simple folk by selling out and restocking at the same time"
I agree the One isn't struggling. Its funny if you look at the articles about the PS4, its STILL all about resolution, and how powerful the system is. While the articles about the One are about how cool features like rumble triggers, instant switching, voice control, and multi tasking are. Everyone in the world gets that the PS4 is more powerful. As we all know power doesn't make games good. Not to mention we live in an age where software can do amazing things for hardware with some s...
I agree I have had very little issue with the UI or anything for that matter. I have had a few bugs pop up, but, NEWS FLASH its 2 weeks after launch, this is expected. And the PS4 is, I'm sure, having issues of its own. But I absolutely love the Xbox One.
Its says "Since its introduction, Microsoft has been really big on entertainment more so than gaming", this is false. Microsoft used the unveil event to talk multimedia. And E3 was ALL about games. Just because they split it up doesn't mean its anything but a game console first. Want proof? Look at how amazing the multi tasking feature is. A game ALWAYS ready to play agian in the back ground.
I love my Xbox One. And from what I read EVERYWHERE, that is most users feelings. I have played both systems and the PS4 UI is like looking at a blu ray players UI, boring and poorly executed, even though its fast, and crisp.
The Xbox One is one heck of a machine.
They also are giving lots of praise to the PS4 controller, because it is way better then the awful PS3 controller. Because something is better than the thing it replaced doesn't make it the best controller ever.
Its funny I read a lot about this stuff and have never heard of a least half of what your talking about. Now if someone says it on a forum or a comment tread, its worthless info. And how do you know what the cloud is or is not going to do for the Xbox? Are you a cloud computing architect? Or perhaps you invented the cloud. I', not saying its going to bring anything to the table, but you don't know either.
What's the funniest, you have 33 agrees! What you are sayin...
Dumb logic? Not saying he is right. But CU's don't make games good. That's the problem with this whole topic. Sorry saying that you should buy a PS4 because of CU's (which is truly the conclusion of topics like this) is bad logic as well.
Vizio makes an OK tv. But if you are buying a TV for gaming and all other things, you should buy a Panasonic plasma, as they're the highest rated TV's available and have a 600hz refresh rate (so do all plasmas).
I like Polygon, they do some really good articles, and for-the-most-part have stayed away from the articles that are fanbate. Some of their industry articles are interesting.
@UnholyLight
Imagine if the cloud computing turns out to be real, man lots of people are going to be eating their words.
