You should play it. Its really good. Way to much stuff the collect but its probably one of the most polished games out. Also when compared to the other tomb raiding game (not necessarily a fair comparison) its got a lot more going on and is an overall better game.
I lved Horizons story. The world was cool too. But the gameplay was fairly weak. I mean I get it because its the first iteration of a game. I bet the second will be really awesome. That said The Witcher (of couse IMO) blows it out of the water and then some.
The Witcher 3 is the best overall game I've ever played. IF you like open world games and haven't played this you're doing yourself a disservice.
I could be wrong but if I remember correctly the PS4 installs the game THEN installs the updates. The X1 does both at the same time. Again My Xbox is my primary so I dont play many games on my PS4 so i could be wrong.
I've really enjoyed my X1. Though it has the best controller ever so that doesn't hurt.

That is an over simplification of the situation. If the X360 wouldn't have been Sony would have had another dominant gen, despite their flaws. They lost the market share due to the X360 being the superior gaming platform. Note - I didn't say superior exclusives but the superior gaming machine, from the controller, to live, to ease of use.
I play all sorts of games on my Xbox DAILY. Perhaps you're not very knowledgeable about games. Thats got to be it. I mean you wouldn't make such a foolish statement if you knew what you were talking about.
A. Another indie Dev could say the same thing easily about MS being supportive and Sony not.
B. Never forget Indie is what it is today because of the spotlight MS put on them in the 360 era
C. Both companies have tons of indies, they cant support them all

Why is that niche? This narrative that every gamer either has a gaming rig and no 4k tv or no rig and no 4k tv just makes people sound uninformed. Thats all i keep reading. That sounds made up and like downplaying to me. 4K is all thats really being made now and aren't that expensive. For $1,500 you can have a XOX and a 55" 4K Tv. how much is it for a 4K computer, and moniter, and desk, and chair, AND everything else you need to have a PC set up.
The argument that you should "just build a PC" is lame and not well thought out. Consoles exist because LOTS and LOTS of people don't want to build/maintain/upgrade a PC. ANYONE who argues differently is just trying to spread a false narrative.

Guys first of all take a breath. Does the XOX match the quality of Multi thousand dollar PCs? The answer is yes. Can you build one for much less that also matches the quality? Also yes. But thats not the question he was asked.
