I'd say it's weird to call it clunky compared to Lords of the Fallen. That game crashed on me once an hour. But hey, to each his own.
It's got a lot of potential. I'm glad they decided to released this alpha demo because I think it needs tweaking. Standard enemies shouldn't one shot you when you're at the level the game intends for you to be at. I think the enemy types should look more different from one another. It's highly arbitrary which ones have way more health and do more damage than others. The controls are good, but turning in tight spaces is awkward. The camera tries so hard to avoid walls that ...
Not really. It's a blatant anti-consumer move on the heels of the pro-consumer stances that rightfully put PS4 on top. A lot of people are disappointed and it sets a precedent that can really harm console gaming in the long run.
You people are such sheep. You're just going to fork over your hard earned cash to send the message that you want to be bent over and screwed by these companies. You act like it's your dream to be lied to and have your tech outdated within the console market mid gen. And what's worse is that you're many of the same people that moan about the New 3DS. You're sending the message that you want console gaming to be expensive and as flippant as the mobile and PC market. If you ...
Seriously, Kent. Tell me you're trolling. Did you actually just unironically call someone a filthy casual?
@KentBenMei
The old no true Final Fantasy fan fallacy.
You cared enough to comment.
This SJW vs anti-SJW war is just giving me a headache. I truly think it's stupid for someone to get offended over an innocuous pose, but so many are responding to its removal like its the end of free society. Both sides are being ridiculous. It's this sensationalism of ultimately trivial details that keeps pushing both sides to greater extremes. I don't agree with the author here, as simply telling one side to be quiet is beyond spineless. But let's face it, it's not that ...
I think the new controls are a major step up from Duscae. I found them a lot more intuitive. For a Japanese developer using a debut engine, I found the visuals to be stunning. The touch of magic really helped cement the game as a Final Fantasy title for me. I can't wait for the real thing.
I'm happy it's an action RPG. I just hope it has some depth in the form of blocking, dodging, enemy weaknesses/resistances and environmental advantages/disadvantages.
I love the original to pieces. I've played it so many times that I have subconsciously memorized strats for every area and boss. But I want to be forced to learn a new game. I want to rediscover Final Fantasy VII from the ground up. I want to crank it up to its highest difficulty so that it requires ...
You're right, he wasn't. The white one was photoshopped. The guy behind that one came forward first. Video link: https://www.youtube.com/wat...

I wouldn't count on it. There aren't any third party Wii U gamepads. In fact, you can't even go to the store to replace a Wii U Gamepad. You have to go through Nintendo and have them presync one to your specific console.
And if the thing is a handheld on its own, forget it.
Bad name, bad marketing, too weak for developers to make ports for.
I like the Wii U, but it's easy for me to see why it didn't do well.
This would need some groundbreaking haptics to work. My hopes aren't too high on that prospect. But I'm going to refrain from getting upset until it comes from Nintendo's month.
Man, Nintendo needs to nut up and say something. Their PR is so outside of their hands righr now, it isn't even funny.
I would buy a Dead or Alive that had dongs. In fact, I'd specifically buy it because it has dongs. More dongs. Dongs for all.
I checked out some of the uncompressed uploads on gamersyde. They've got a full unedited boss fight there. The game looks amazing. I can't wait to play it.
@Zefros Yeah. Walking for ten-twenty minutes to get to a level. Obsessively tranquilizing and fultoning everyone over a C-rank instead of focusing on the mission at hand because I'll need the R&D people later to actually progress in the game. Discovering that most enemy checkpoints can be taken by sniping from one spot with the tranquilizer gun I started the game with because the map is so open and there's no real reason not to deploy at night. The lack of incentive to remain unde...
Why are people disliking this guy? It's truth. The DualShock 4 has a shoddy R2 button. The one on my second controller is locking up now and I don't even play shooters. I think it's a comfortable controller, but man is it cheaply made. Not nearly as durable as my 360 or Wii U Pro controller.
@The 10th Rider
It absolutely does have mandatory motion controls and that's exactly why I'm not interested in the game.
