I applaud the writer. I read the tweet yesterday but didn't think that is what it meant. I can see it now, Kojima did say something similar to this in terms of the way he worded his comment on his decision to change Snake's fate in the end of MGS4.

1. Hulu being blocked because of MS, mainly because that one was semi-confirmed as there was a deal made by MS with Hulu. (no-one knows what it was about but it is likely it was the case)
2. MS delaying games on PC to sell consoles. There is no other reason for MS do delay games they publish on PC. After all games are developed on PC for PC before being ported to consoles. Alan Wake is a good example where the publisher (MS) delayed a PC game. (without a proper reason i might add...

Lol, been saying Halo story sucks for years. Halo was ok until they decided to make Halo 2 and completely destroy the story. However with him saying that i expect him to deliver a good story this time round and not what Crysis 1 was. (he didn't make it so i still have hopes)
But most shooters don't have deep stories anyway with the exception of half-Life and Bioshock. (Deus-Ex was also great)

I would chose a PSP mainly for homebrew. However there are tons of games that are interesting on the DS such as the FF remakes and Chrono Trigger but then again i can play the originals on PSP SNES emulators. :S
So yes if you are willing to use homebrew the PSP is a much better platform with a lot more options on what to play. But if i were to compare stock games the DS takes the cake.
Well i will only be speaking for myself here but...
Does the PS3 need it? No, there are enough games on the PS3 to even come close to needing 1 game.
Should the PS3 get it? Yes, the more games the better.
Would i buy it if it came on the PS3? I would never buy it. Having played GeOW1/2 i found them to be absolute crap, i expect to hate this one too.

I agree, also by getting a G25 you can save more than 100 Euro, money you could spend towards something else like a buttkicker. (really good low frequency bass speaker that is used to give you the sensation of seating on an actual race seat. (it makes vibrations basically in accordance to the engine sound) Btw i mentioned mods because i found some very good ones that can improve the actual feel of let's say the shifter while maintaining the sequential mode. :)
I am sticking to my G25. i see no point to upgrade when all they brought was minor improvements that moding would solve. :/

This list is very flawed, especially when it comes to series. The writer tried to chose just 1 entry per series to avoid having the list full of Zelda or FF.

FFVI belongs in this list much more than FFVII. FFVI has possibly the best OST of all time for a game. I agree however that the overal lack of FF from the list is disturbing seeing as all the games until X had awesome music.

The models that Sony promised to have PS2 BC still have it to this day. Them removing it from future models was a sensible move when considering they dropped the price at the same time where you could get 2 PS2s with the difference. (60Gb = 600$ 80Gb = 400$ PS2 = 100$)I still wanted PS2 BC on my PS3 but given that i paid less for it i have no right to complain.
