Hey thanks for that update.
This game is nothing like end wars which was actually a decent game by the way.
Great demo definitely worth a download.
I think I'm going to wait until E3 before I start saying who has a better strong point then the other. Sony's lineup is looking strong but MS hasn't even really announced anything so we will see how it turns out later.
MS is already competing with SOny for 2009 and as soon as they announce a few good titles fanboys will shut up again like every year. The question really should be directed at the Wii and not 360 for crying out loud.
I didn't have any expectations either but simply fell in love ith the Halo universe.
I think the demo is available for silver members as well as gold of course. Played the demo many many times and although I'm happy you got the other demo to play this one is by far good enough to enjoy.
I'm starting to see more and more exfanboys turn they ways around and start getting back to there honest opinions on gaming. I agree with both Morgan and Vendetta and personally look forward to the retail version.
I'm sorry but I don't trust any review site period and will judge this game and any other for myself. To many times have i seen good games get bad scores and bad get good because of this broken review system.
Well I don't want to raise my expectations to high with MS. Ever since Peter Moore left they've been going down hill with new IP's and gaming news. Hopefully they announce some big stuff at E3 because if not they have simply lost focus then gen.
One thing about Halo I like is the fact that every vehicle, weapon, area in game, and enemy are all important and memorable. I can't wait to see what ever it is Peter's doing brought to life.
I'm sorry but that's a huge line for this game with people playing on both sides of the kiosk. With a bad economy do you really think all these people are looking around for tv's? If MS can keep delivering on RPG's then it's safe to say that things are changing there for them in Japan drastically.
I would much rather a next gen focused on virtual reality. 3d is cool and all but the headaches will be endless for some.
This is tech news not PS3 news so keep your trash in the open zone.
System link is what made Halo stand out more than any other game before it. Sure pc shooter have always been serious but halo controls really made more sense and took away the feeling of being a floating cursor. I've played all the shooters from Nintendo to RFOM2 to even cod4 and will tell you that none of those games have that Halo magic. This topic has been around for a awhile and as always the few that didn't like it will go online and voice there opinion. We all ready know the Halo gamepl...
Well if you haven't noticed 360 still offers basic online features the PS3 has yet to do. Also netflix is a totally different type of service and community games is something PS3 will never have. 360 library is bigger and only a fool would say there equal when it's obvious SOny did a bunch of patch work to make it appear as if there up to speed with 360. You fanboys are to freaking funny and will be shut down again trust me.
The arrogance of Sony Fan boys is hilarious. You guys are as usual setting yourselves up for failure and disappointment. Instead of talking so much crap about 360 why don't you all worry about PS3 since you truly believe it's superior.
If you can't afford it then simply don't buy it. There's nothing worst then seeing people complain over things they don't need anyway. The only thing that's free on this earth is air, and until they start charging for that people just need to shut it.
"Microsoft acts as your publisher and gives you a 70 per cent cut of all the money your game makes"
I didn't know you could actually make money off a game. This community games stuff is pretty cool.
I will say the one thing I envy in this game aside from visuals is a freaking good looking take cover system. Now hopefully other developers take note and use this same type of feature. Rainbow and all the rest put you in that unrealistic 3rd person view. The days of run and gun are over so let's just hope prideful developers take note of this.
Your not the only one that was caught by surprise. I didn't think it was possible to even like a console rts game until playing the Halo Wars demo. I'm having such a blast playing it and can't wait to hop online and battle it out in multiplayer.
