And it's not just graphics either. I'm sick and tired of 8vs8 of 16vs16 team deathmatch. Games are still the same as they were on the N64/PS with shinier graphics. I want games to take a leap too next gen, not just the hardware. How about someone tries to make an MMO type game for a console that actually works! You know,proper gameplay like you'd find in a non-MMO game, amazing graphics, removing all the excess junk the only fits a PC.

While I'm not completely sold on 3D, this is certainly good news. The more content available in 3D, the more chance I'll actually purchase a 3D television.
I'm just saying that until recently, E3 and TGS were typically the places you'd find all the major announcements and games. This year, Gamescom could also be placed in that category.
Well GC is only becoming big now. Big in the sense that it will actually have announcements and exclusives, not on attendance. I know GC's attendance was huge last year as well. You've got to remember that this is only the 2nd Gamescom ever, so devs might have been a bit sceptical last year. Regardless, it's going to be a hell of a show.
