My guess is it's that 'Z-Day' game they trademarked a while back. Hopefully we'll see a glimpse of it at GC this year.

Well no they shouldn't have stayed in Leipzig. They're trying to make Gamescom as important (or more import than) E3, so they need the bigger and better venue.
For all these companies skipping Gamescom, just as many are pledging support. It seems to be mostly Japanese companies skipping GC, probably because it's closish to TGS time wise.

Nice, with a big backer like Intel behind it, this technology (basically cloud based gaming) will have a much bigger chance of succeeding.

Yeh I got one because I'm minted. I was upgrading tvs anyway, so I thought I may as well get a 3D one. Even if I hardly ever use the 3D, it's not like I can't turn off the 3D and still have a sweet tv.
I won't get New Vegas (don't like Fallout) and I won't get Black Ops(don't like Activision) but the other 3 are definitely on my to buy list.
Probably the reason both dropped out of GC 2010 too. I'm sure we'll see something from them at TGS.

I love me some Fable. It's not quite Zelda, but I always love the hours spent on a fable game. They might not be the best rpgs ever but the charm and immersion factor more than makes up for any shortcomings in my opinion.
Yeah because Halo is the only game with sequels right? Pretty much every successful game nowadays is assured at least a trilogy.
Put it this way there were 2 halo games on the xbox, 2 halo games on the xbox 360(I wouldn't count ODST since it's basically an expansion pack) and I assume this new one is for the next xbox. 2 games of a franchise per generation is not that much. Zelda does it, Final Fantasy does it, Assassins Creed does it, and countless other games do it ...
You do realise 343 basically is Bungie right? The creative director of 343 and tons more of its employees were in Bungie and worked on both Halo CE and Halo Reach.

Yes restrictions which will be overcome as broadband becomes faster and cheaper. We're talking about the future, not right now. So I don't see why you're talking about present day restrictions on a technology that will be utilized in the future for, amongst other things, video games.
The PS3 drive can't use these 100gb Bluray disks so your point is kinda moot.
